I hate the idea of compromise lynching, but given that with this set-up our only reliable way of getting bona fide info is via lynching (barring cross-kills) I agree with the sentiment that we need to settle on someone. By my count, Safety Dance and Always Mafia each have three votes. I obviously come into this with a bias, as my vote's already on Always Mafia, but I'd point out that the arguments against him don't veer into policy lynch territory (something that could get very dangerous very quickly in this format) and he's been absent for over three days. His last post asked The Reverend to make a case on him. The Reverend did so, and no response. Fishy much? Despite what people are holding against Safety Dance right now, he's active and engaged, whereas Always Mafia is being deadweight. Therefore I'd encourage others to vote for his lynch. Before this time tomorrow, ideally, since the phase will be over then...-

3 more votes to lynch, ~16 hours. In fairness to alwaysmafia, he hasn't been on site since his last post here, so it appears he hasn't even read my wall on him. But that's no reason to let up on him. I see no better case on anyone else. People say safety is scummy but I don't believe any of the arguments in favour of his lynch are as strong as the case I provided for always, and if always is going to disappear at such a crucial time, well the term deadweight is appropriate.
A no lynch is bad, very bad for town. It basically gives the scum a free NK and we get little info to work with tomorrow. If people don't want to vote alwaysmafia, then explain why, don't just leave your vote sitting on someone like me or elscouta, because those who allow a no lynch to happen are going to get a fucking ton of heat off me tomorrow. Anyone is better than a no lynch, I'd even rather get lynched myself than see a no lynch, because it's progress.
So to those not already on the alwaysmafia wagon... either shift your vote onto him, or explain why you won't. Quickly please.
~16 hours.-

That works. I dislike the wagon because of the people on it, but this is the only lynch I can see happening with such little time left and it will yield some information.
VOTE: Always Mafia
This is L-1
Try to wait for a claim before a hammer, but if deadline gets too close I won't get mad if there isn't one.Phone posting. Low effort, big fun.

Okay, L-1, got there in a short order process and got to say that I do not reserve sole authority to complete this process of this definitely best lynch we can muster with little time left. I suggest we know where one more person stands by way of their hammering instead of my doing so, as the speed of this L-1 means we should in theory have no problem getting one other person to follow suit with the need to get a lynch.-

I see that night's coming, so forget about multiposting oath right now.
I know with good percent of confidence that you're good this time. Rev. I know you're golden this game: You're not making excusing sounding language like the "FINE, whatever, I KINDA want to hammer and lynch for my own preferences and excitement to now getting time to be high" that you did when speaking in the posts that sandwiched my own in the following link, in the game in which you were scum: https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.p ... 6#p4425236-

Also, I'm thinking it's worth multiposting to say that I am really enjoy this game so far; I know that in this game I can only see your words in order to figure out who to trust--But I am thinking of the faces behind the words in my imagination, and I think that whether you're scum or town, I imagine your faces glowing with energy this game. It's a good mix here. Really enjoying myself.-

I think it's the size of the games that make the difference for how much energy/length I commit in my posts. In large games, my mind is stretched everywhere, perhaps paranoid and kind of makes me just want to fret a bit while posting something, perhaps stupid to someone out there in the sea of people, and then get the heck out of the seat and then snack and worry and repeat. In these smaller games, though, it's easier to get more robust feel on how people interact.-

Always Mafia cringed as the citizens approached him. "Don't kill me! I'm innocent!" he pleaded, but his frantic cries fell on deaf ears. Silently, two citizens stepped forward and escorted him roughly to the gallows without a hint of expression on their faces. He trembled under their hands, shouting his goodbyes to his loved ones until the rope snapped.

The town stirred and moved to the center of the square, squinting at one another as they assessed their numbers in the harsh daylight. Dread grew within them as they released one among their ranks was missing, body not able to be found: havingfitz.
Day 2
Deadline is in (expired on 2013-01-02 18:49:00). With 10 players, it's 6 to lynch.-

Yeah I didn't like his fucking about at hammer time. At that time it was obvious always was going to be lynched, and he should know it's me who looks bad for his wagon. So I'm not sure what that was about either.
Apologies for the bad read. Guess we should be glad he was just vanilla.
Much quieter night than anticipated. I have a good feeling about that.-
