apparently it is, our friend went to elementary school in dorchester. He lives in oxford.

~15 years ago I was at a multi-day training in Richmond with several coworkers. Day one, the instructor is telling us where to go near the hotel to get food and stuff and he strongly advises everyone to not make a right or whatever off the main drag unless "we were packing our knives".

The 4 of us from Baltimore laughed and when he heard where we were from he said, "Except those guys- they'll be fine".

The funny thing is that ad soon as I open my mouth, anyone from Baltimore immediately knows I'm from the lower shore. And my accent isn't even that thick.

I was with some friends in Severna Park of all places and a clerk looks right at me and says "you're from across the bridge, aren't you?" Although he also said I talk faster than most shore folks.

Yeah when my mother and stepdad were using, they would drive across the bridge once a week because their dealer lived a few blocks over from Hopkins.
