Okay, that was a pretty quick re-read.
We started off with an odd bandwagon on MBL. I find bird's, CES's and inHim's votes to be oddest. Bird then tried to slip out of it without too much fuss, and inHim's just acting really odd.
Klebian's QFT post was a bit odd as well, and it gave him a notch up on the ol' scum-meter.
I've noted that in Post 80, Phoebus votes my predecessor, which I found rather odd.
In post 99, StD voted Glork for his behaviour, which I also find odd. While Glork's behaviour may have been silly or even just outright stupid, I've come to expect that of him.
Nightson has been behaving very oddly all game. I don't see where he's coming from. At all. I'll admit I haven't played with Nightson a lot, but this isn't how my memory says he usually plays.
While I found bird's behaviour to be quite scummy, I believe the 'wagon against him is probably scum-driven.
So I'll go ahead andVote: Nightson, as I find the birdwagon to be reeking of gorillas.ShowFinished: 159 (120 Town, 33 Mafia, 5 Other, 1 Cult, 4 Cultivated)

Imo lynch is better than no lynch. And bird seems to be scum on top of that.ShowWe are all innocent townies and the mod is an evil bastard laughing at us lynching eachother!

Ah.
Sorry, I didn't know that, in the event of no majority at deadline, we would get a no lynch. I'm not used to that rule. Well, as you say, any lynch is better than no lynch, and it doesn't look like we'll be getting rid of Nightson, soUnvote, Vote: bird.ShowFinished: 159 (120 Town, 33 Mafia, 5 Other, 1 Cult, 4 Cultivated)

STARDATE 3859.4729:After much struggling, and several temporary power outages, bird1111 is bundled into the airlock. Just before the power finally shuts down for the day, Nightson slams his furry hand down on theEJECTbutton, and bird1111 is flung out into the cold vacuum of space.
It is not clear what actually kills the Gorilla: asphyxiation, the boiling of his blood, or the pressure imbalance which causes his whole body to explode after a few seconds. Whatever -- with the death of one of the Gorilla Space Assault Squad, the safety of the Galaxy is one step closer.
bird111 (Gorilla) - lynched day 1.
It is now Night 2. Please send choices ASAP. Day 2 will start once I have got all the replacements in place.-

STARDATE 4859.4930:After a short period of darkness, the lights come back on. And there is a new horror on the bridge, in addition to the piles of dead Space Monkeys. Near the Tech Winch is the outline of a dead ape. Apart from a few wisps of uniform, a couple of hairs, and set of dog-tags, it appears thatMrBuddyLeehas been completely vaporized. Close inspection of the remains reveals that his uniform was the characteristic dark blue of the Gorilla Space Assault Corps.
MrBuddyLee (Gorilla) - vaporized night 2.
With him dead, the Galaxy is a little safer. But it is not saved. There are still Gorillas on the bridge of theSS Simian!
It is now day 2. With 15 alive, it will take 8 of you to push someone out of the airlock.Last edited by Mr Stoofer on Mon Dec 11, 2006 1:17 am, edited 2 times in total.-

Holy fuck, is that monkey waving at us? Oh, shit, It understood us! Maybe it's some kind of supermonkey. What if there's more supermonkeys up at that lab? What if they're creating an army of them? Holy shit. It must be a conspiracy like in the X-Files... *Roswell* style! This little monkey could be the fuckin' damn dirty ape responsible for the fall of the human race. In this world gone mad, we won't spank the monkey- the monkey will spank us. And after the fall of man, these monkey fucks'll start wearing our clothes and rebuilding the world in their image. Oh and only those as super smart as me will be left alive to bitterly cry - *you maniacs*! Damn yous! Goddamn yous all to hell!Surfs up dude.-

Sorry, didn't find. this thread until now. The recent lock took this off my watch list. I'm back now, though.
I seem to have lost my notes and can't really reconstruct those underreactions, but I'll try to take it from here. Two Gorillas down. No sign of other killing groups. Obviously bird was unvoting becuase they were scum buddies. How likely is it that even more scum were on that wagon? I would look outside it.dahen wrote:Special note for this game, since it's so fun: I have seen quite a few
overreactions and also some surprising underreactions in the latest posts. I will elaborate on that in my next post.
Would ibby first vote MBL to then move her vote at hammer time to Bird? Possibly.
Who in this game has never voted MBL? We lost a bit in the crash. Does anybody have a list? I never voted MBL, but who more than me?-

And to think I was going to come out with my guns blazing to say that MBL didn't vote or even recognize the existence of the birdwagon Yesterday...
No matter.
Oh, and I just reviewed PJ's posts. In summary, "Hmmm... I'm suspicious of bird, and he has a big bandwagon, but, nah... I won't vote for him."

I can support a PJ wagon also. As well as what people have mentioned about PJ, I also found some of Ibaesha's posts scummy; she voted for MBL (not so bad), then moved to bird when MBL was at -1 (deflecting a bandwagon from a strong member of the scum to a weaker member of the scum), then started going after Glork/Nightson.
