So I just shut off our HBO cause it was going to start costing us like 30 bucks a month.

I was hoping HBO was
not
one of the ones that wasn't included in my package. Curses.

Don't worry Sapo, I'll let you borrow my DVD:
Image
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

IDK why this is making me giggle so much.

It might be Ned Stark erupting from his son's torso.

Or it might be the tiny duplicate Ned in the corner, with a pissed-off Cersei skulking right behind him.

IDK the whole thing is just full of win.

OH MAN I AM ALMOST DONE WITH THE FIRST BOOK

Dany just lost Rhaego and killed Drogo and it was the saddest thing that's happened so far.

It's something fairly normal for that time period. Creepy I guess, but given that people's life spans were in general a lot shorter they couldn't wait around till their late 20's to start doing stuff.

This is incorrect.

What we know as "life expectancy" in medieval times was a lot shorter because of a very high infant death toll. However, those who survived it tended to live well into their old age. While this might not mean 70-80 years old, it doesn't mean that people died in their mid-forties.

real medieval times were less fun anyway, no one shouted GIVE ME BACK MUH DRAGONS, so you can't really compare the two.

To be fair, in the better version of the story, no one shouted GIVE ME BACK MUH DRAGONS either.

Yeah, all the death kinda resided in the childhood side, making the object of the game reaching adult hood. Once you pulled that off, you were pretty much fine.
