I wouldn't mind a server play for that either. Tried it earlier, died horribly.

Mhm. I'm concerned about it being overcrowded though. I've found with large numbers of players both the loot and the challenges are spread far too thinly and every area become "everyone rush in at once and see how many torches we can get down before we all die".

So this is what I have been doing on my SSP world:

So to avoid having to spend hours looking for pages in mystcraft world, I have set this market: 1 mystcraft testificate to sell me pages, and three other testificates with easy trades for me to get emeralds:

This is my work in progress: a room full of LV5 soulshards controlled by computer. Clicking on a mob's name will turn that mob's spawner on/off. There are enchanting turtles nearby, and clicking the bottom button turns them on (for automated enchanting) or off (for an XP grinder). Still have to implement a "turn all on/off" button, add more soulshards (spiders, creepers, zombie pigmen and wither skels)

And this is my big failure. I build a grandiose thaumcraft room, full of research bonuses. When I finally made a wand, I found out that this spot was on a null-magic area. I will have to build an actual thaumcraft workshop somewhere else, and maybe eventually move a note to my base. Oh well, it is all about the challenge.

next time you're on-server or on-IRC, ping Corin a shitton, he knows prices better than I do. But I know a 1gig is something like 11 or 12 bucks a month (8 pounds i think, maybe 7)

we're at something under 50 deaths right now and have I think 6 wools so I feel pretty good about that, considering we took the combat oriented start

just moseying your way through the Wools or getting them in order? when Klaz and I played alone on our laptop-hosted server we were just like "lol this place looks awesome, let's try it and come back to that crappy one later" but I know others are like "naw can't move on without Wool"

in order. There's some inherent randomness to which order at each intersection though

Also we found Kamyu the hidden and didnt realize it was a fucking "bonus area" and got quite a few deaths there and lost some shit. It was annoying. Plus side was the prot II iron set there + a super iron pick and a zistonian sign level 3 that I promptly placed in the next area ((( </3

The area we're in right now is helllll though.

Caves and witches and creepers and skellies, the spawners are in LINES i shit you not, there's like 8-10 spawners per section and there's TONS of sections.

Assloads of chests though! It's the place with the minecart track to it from intersection 2
