Has this whole town caught a case of the stupids?
1.) Lynch-All-Liars does not work here. If Masterchief hasn't been paying attention to the game, he thinks he is scum no matter what his role is, and hence will claim Space Monkey no matter what his role is.
2.) In relation to #1, I would also have claimed Space Monkey if it were not for the fact that there seemed to be something very off at the beginning of D4. For example, if I had been forced to claim D2 (when the wagon between InHim and myself was raging), I would have claimed Space Monkey. This would not necessitate me being lynched today.
3.)Big Point
Glork accused me earlier today of "trying to roll lynches right along" so there couldn't be discussion. Now that we've figured out the game, Glork is the person trying to roll lynches right along. Has nobody wondered about this?
Glork, others: are you even taking into account Masterchief's ADD? You have to remember that this is the guy who didn't even realize hedidn't have a role infor a different game.
This is disgraceful. Masterchief may very well be scum, but I can't see how the town intends to win by continuing to be bandwagony in general. This is exactly how scum won SpeedyKQ's Big Mafia Game. Let's not have a repeat of that, please.
There is no deadline on today, and we won't exactly lose anything by extending day for discussion."Logic? I call that flapdoodle."-

PJ, if MC has been paying so little attention that he doesn't even know who scum is and who the town is, he's going to be more of a help than a hindrance to us in the game. If he's paying so little attention that, when told blatantly that the space monkey are the scum, he still continues to roleclaim space monkey, then he is downright dangerous due to his stupidity. And while I did not know that about MC, it does not excuse him - going into any game, we should be able to treat all players as equal until posts are made."I hear that random.org punches babies." - Thesp-

Okay, in all seriousness, PJ, Andrew has a very reasonable point.
Suppose MC really is a Gorilla. Suppose we elect to keep him alive, guessing that he's too moronic to realize what's going on, but that he's, y'know... a pretty genuine kind of guy. It's a damned sure bet that the Space Monkeys are going to keep him alive, and then when it *really* comes down to it, in that clutch endgame situation, MC's gonna be a Gorilla, and the other Gorilla is going to have to choose the Space Monkey. We then leave it up to MC (who thinks he is GorillaScum and will hammer indiscriminately) to "find the scum" and win the game. It basically becomes a game of "hope that you vote first and that MC hammers [LOLROFL] the other guy first." I don't want to do that.
Regardless of his alignment, his existence is a detriment to the town. Even then, I'd still give odds that he's scum. Given what we see as the Space Monkeys' alleged win condition (which I suppose I see no reason to doubt) and given the wording MC used in his claim, I think he probably paraphrased it using the in-game lynch method, thinking that he might be modkilled if he quoted or copy/pasted it directly.
Basically, I'm thinking that there's a likely chance (60%ish) that he's scum, and that even in the event that he is town, he probably needs to be dead. As such is the case, I'd like to see his alignment when we go into night. I firmly believe that he is the play today.-

My earlier post should be 'second' not 'first.' And I forgot about my 3rd possibility (I only listed 2):
Stoofer our beloved mod screwed up the pm line on purpose. (just kidding )
Get rid of a not-paying-attention-person as early as possible. Would you rather off him now, or figure out whether or not to off him at game?Blank.-

Oohhhhh. I misread your post.
I donno, I really don't have much to say right now. I'd like to hear from StD, who has not posted in a solid week. He's on my list, and he seems to have disappeared as of late, after the revelations and after making a "gut" vote on Fritzler.
If it makes you feel any better, though, I canUnvote MC. There.-

1) I see your point about endgame. But I hope that mc would've realized what's going on by then. Hmm, but yes, I see your point.Glork wrote:Okay, in all seriousness, PJ, Andrew has a very reasonable point.

2) I don't think he thought he would be modkilled. If he did, he definitely wouldn't have put a win condition there...
Hmm. I stand undecided here... I don't really see mc being scum as much as you guys do, but I also agree that I don't want him to live on.
I will consent to vote masterchief, but I want to ask, why are we extending the day? I think there has been reasonable amount of discussio today, but not enough?-

Unvotedumb vote
I am a little inclined to vote MC based on jeep's title.
The problem is, I am still under the impression MC is just claiming Space Monkey just because he hasn't been paying attention.
Glork and AndrewS do have a point (WB AndrewS if I haven't said so already).
PJ: Do you want MC dead? I seem to be confused about this. You are currently on his wagon, and it seems like eventually you would have joined his wagon...
Do you think MasterCheif really is scum and/or a detriment? (and I'm sorry if the answer is in the thread somewhere and I missed it)-

STARDATE 1110.0703:As the battle for the bridge continues, the Gorillas begin to get the upper hand. Soon the Gorillas are calling out to each other, regrouping for a final big push to destroy the Space Monkeys and take over theSS Simian, and with it the final hope for peace in the Galaxy.
As the Gorillas begin to hunt down the final survivors of their initial assault, attention turns to Masterchief. It's too dim to see, so he is asked straight out whether he is a crew member or not. "Yes, I'm a Space Monkey" he responds, rather unwisely, as those on the bridge gather around him. The result is as quick as it is predictable: he is bundled into the airlock and ejected to his death.
Ensign Masterchief was in fact an officer in the Gorilla Space Assault Corps. Not much is known about the training that officers receive at the Gorilla's Officer Training School, but it obviously includes impersonating the enemy. Perhaps they should introduce reading into the curriculum?
Masterchief (Gorilla Ensign) - lynched Day 4.
It is now Night 5 - choices please!-

STARDATE: 1383.8801:You all know the drill by now... small pile of ash... no sign of spectrumvoid... scrap of blue uniform... must have been a Soldier in the Gorilla Space Assault Squad... one less Gorilla means a slightly safer Galaxy.
spectrumvoid (Gorilla) - vaporized night 5.
It is now Day 5. There are 10 survivors on the bridge of theSS Simian, so it will take 5 of you to shove someone out of the airlock.

Need to be off to class very soon, butFoS: Glork. This might turn into a vote very soon. The entire Masterchief scenario yesterday (with Glork pushing for it constantly after trying to makemelook worse for "rolling lynches along") played on my mind while the game was waiting in night.
Results for today, Thok Thok?"Logic? I call that flapdoodle."-
