I'm assuming this torture thing with Theon is just gonna keep going and keep going and keep going. I mean, they just removed his finger, and that seemed like just the start. I don't see anyone suddenly showing up to rescue him, either. Which means we'll probably see Theon lose more and more body parts before this is all over...

He's going to marry Walder Frey's daughter (one of them) right? Wasn't Robb supposed to do the same thing? I don't honestly think Frey is a very

forgiving

person, so I don't quite see why they're believing his deal. I have a feeling the Tully/Frey wedding is probably a big setup, possibly between Frey/Lannister? Tywin

suddenly stopped caring about Robb so much, but I have a hard time judging the passage of time on this show, so I don't know if it's enough time for him to have formed a plan with Walder Frey.

So, I have never watched the show but it films 5 minutes from my house as some of you know... I always thought they brought their own extras however I looked into it today, and have applied to be an extra on the show

Sam fucking sucks and I keep praying for his death every week.

What's worse is he would wimper and cry at the moment of his imminent death. I don't know if his character can really be redeemed. Him dying wouldn't be entertaining until the end and you say "Finally it's over".

I will say that the Ros scene didn't get me as much as the Sorcerer being held captive by Varys.

I'm still not sure if I entirely like the way they've taken Littlefinger. He's my favorite character in the books and I don't know that he is in the show. But he's still a pretty darn interesting character.

I don't know that I believe this pretty great monologue. In that I don't know that Littlefinger is being entirely truthful that he believes the climb is all their is.

Is he not so ruthlessly ambitious in the books?

He's obviously very ambitious and will do what he needs to accomplish his goals, but I'd say there's less of a sadistic ruthlessness mixed in. Part of that may just be that the books keeps him as a very enigmatic character, dolling out information only in little bits. He's like a little mystery novel that's woven into the book.

books

show makes LF come across as more ruthless than in the books. If anything, some lines in the books made me think "he may or may not have done this really sadistic thing but SHHHHHHH".
