Peoples, the bar is the last place we should go. There's only alcohol there, and I'm sure there's not even one pole, which is definitely no fun. The other two choices are much better.

Hospital sounds like a fun place. Medical supplies. and like scalpels and drugs and shit. We could capture and interrogate a gypsy if need be.
And odds are resturaunt is only left with awkward utensils like whisks, and as my Creative Writing professor said in a great story he wrote., "It's hard to kill a man with a whisk."

Running from gypsies is ten times better when drunk.

Still, let's see here.

The hospital is good as a base if we have people here with medical skills; it'd be nice knowing we can heal while fighting if things come to that. Hospitals are usually pretty study, too, so we'd just need to board up windows and bar doors with whatever heavy equipment we can find. It's also likely that, even if the hospital has been looted or something, we can still find things that would be useful. One problem would be if the gypsies decided to mess with the power generator, so hopefully your cell phone batteries are still good. (Wait, how modern is this town?)

As xofelf said, the kitchen is probably looted by now, so there won't be any food left. The furniture would probably still be there, but then we'd be cooping ourselves up in a building that probably has no food and no good weapons. No alcohol, either, so we'd be turning into
zombies
gypsies
sober
.

The bar is... meh? We can use the alcohol and make a wall of fire, which would buy some time. The upside here would be that we can get things here that would give us firepower, and, hey, what's more fun than throwing firey cocktails at mobs of hungry gypsies? Also, once we've looted the place, we can leave behind enough alcohol to get a bunch of the gypsies drunk, and that'd be less gypsies chasing us.

Yeah, okay, so kitchen's out. Any cons you guys can think of for either the hospital or the bar?

Bar cons: little protection, I guess. Also, someone can get really drunk and die.
Hospital cons: everyone can go different ways and get lost.

Yeah, we'd probably be surrounded fairly quickly in a bar. It'd probably be possible to get away eventually, but we'd lose people that way.

The hospital will have a lot of different ways to get in, though. Hmm.

I think I'd prefer to go to the hospital at this time. Granted, if we really
were
being chased by zombies, the hospital would be the worst possible place to go.
Agreed that the restaurant is a dud.

Sorry, man. If it helps, it was a completely random choice...though apparently the other choices were not.

As we are in a gypsy scenario, I doubt they would want to go into a clean sterile environment like a hospital.

I have no idea why I'd opt to go to a 5-star abandoned restaurant, and I foresee many accidental deaths in the bar by those trying to pull stupid hijinxs they've seen in movies. Plus, bars are boring. Might as well cut the middleman plot and go run to the hospital first.

Massive over-analysis of the most minute things time!

Okay, so there's three choices, with no given advantages or disadvantages to any of them, so in the long run this looks like it won't matter all that much. Since we have been given barely anything about the locations, we need to factor in what has been given about them. To me, the most notable difference is in the tone of the descriptions. For the Bar and the Restaurant, the descriptions sound overly eager, overemphasizing the possible benefits of going to that location, and end with an exclamation point, where the one for the Hospital sounds dubious like even this excitable person would be unsure why we would actually want to go there, marking a stark contrast from the other two. Normally this would make me want to go there more, since the person telling us these things is named Gypsy, and therefore would specifically trying to trick us into not going where they don't want us to be, but factoring in what Xalxe said, it makes it sound like there is two places where we will want to go eventually and specifically one that would be bad to go to. That would imply that the one that is different would specifically be the bad option, therefore we should avoid the Hospital at all costs.

Between the Bar and the Restaurant, I don't think it really matters which one we explore first, if we are in fact going to be exploring everywhere. It is explicitly stated that the Restaurant is abandoned, so even though it may have been looted, it's not like the alcohol from the bar would be any more filling. The fact that it was looted though means that the Gypsies were there at one point, so they may have accidentally dropped something worthy of note in their efforts. While similar things can be said of the bar, from the sound of it if we go there half of us will be too drunk to search properly, so as it stands my vote is for the Restaurant.

 Now I feel kind of stupid.

And no, I only do stuff like that for things that interest me, which in general does not include literature.

And Xalxe, are you claiming Gypsy?
