My wishlist for transfering to new server:

Top row: Coke Oven and collected saplings from the world
Next 2 rows: forestry bred saplings
Bottom row: forestry machines

Actually... will either of the rubber trees even be in the new mod pack? I think the one kind is industrial craft and the other is definitely RP2.

Not sure if we're going to do the item-transfer thing yet, or something different. One problem with moving items over, no matter how few or many we allow, is that it is horribly, horribly unfair for those who mostly did IC2, TC3, or RP2.

Okay... I've got a test world set up with MC 1.5.1, MFR and CC. I've plugged a rednet cable into the back of a computer and sent a redstone signal to the lime green subnet on the cable. I've run this little program which should (I think) correctly detect it if it were RP2 bundled cable:

Ah! I've just spotted that where the cable joins the computer there's a little coloured band round the cable. Clicking on it with a hammer causes it to cycle through the colours. Setting it to lime green and calling redstone.getInput("back") returns true! :)

So you can read the cable, but only one colour at a time -- oh well it's better than nothing, eh?

On that note, please be aware that
EVEN IF WE DO MOVE STUFF OVER, IT MAY NOT BE A WHOLE CHEST FULL, LET ALONE A DOUBLE OR IRON CHEST
. So it's probably a good idea to prioritise the stuff that you put in.

meh, that doesn't mean it's broken...it just means we can't /warp or /spawn or look at dynmap or......

So, I wanted to try out Tinkers Construct. It took me a bit to figure out how to make it work, with Maruchan's help. He said I should post this. If you want to try it and you're mod-illiterate like me, here's what I did to play with it in SP (using FTB):

Save both of the following zip files to the instMod folder in your chosen modpack in your FTB folder (NOT DW20 - I used Ultimate) If you've never used the modpack before, you'll need to launch it and FTB will create the folders cuz they won't be there otherwise.

- Download Tinkers Construct for 1.4.7 here
- Download Forge 7.7.1.675 or above here (click the universal link)
Note: DO NOT unzip anything.


- Launch FTB and choose the modpack you saved it to.

I'm sure I did something wrong or stupid, but this worked for me. I'm also sure most of you understand the mod shizz better than I do too, lol... but if you don't, this should help.
