I was actually pretty close to this earlier, but I threw out Michael as a possibility because it violates the second clue. The syllable "Cold" is not contained anywhere in "Michael Bolton".

That also doesn't work. The correct syllable would be "cull", not "cool".In post 430, xtopherusD wrote:

It does, there's just a few different ways to pronounce the name. (Mhy-kol / My-cool)In post 439, Mastermind of Sin wrote:

It sounds like "cool" with a non-American accent. In post 439, Mastermind of Sin wrote:

You mean an "inability to speak proper English" accent? Nothing in the spelling even remotely suggests any sort of "col" or "cool" sound, whereas "cull" and "kale" would be perfectly reasonably arguments. I don't know of any precedents for other similarly spelled words adopting such an unorthodox pronunciation, either. In post 441, RichardGHP wrote:

I'd argue that Pluto is still a planet...it's a dwarf
planet. That's besides the point though. In all seriousness, Kepler-76B is WAAAAAAAAY too many syllables. I haven't heard of any confirmed planets more recently than that one, and the news on that broke less than two weeks ago, so it's unlikely there was another one.Last edited by Mastermind of Sin on Sun May 26, 2013 6:01 pm, edited 2 times in total.Permanent V/LA.
