When I got my role, I decided the best way to utilise it was to try and live beyond Night 1, and then shoot from the second night onwards (unless I was very sure of someone being scum N1) so I have decent odds of hitting scum. For the first day I was deliberately playing in a more fluid, in the moment style, as opposed to my usual MO of bombarding of the thread with weighty analysis. This was meant purely to avoid the nightkill N1, so I could influence the game with my role. Admittedly, it was slightly egotistical of me to assume I was a good chance of being NK'ed and I probably overcompensated and erred too far on the lurky side of things. Another motivation was just general curiosity to try a new playstyle.

Hoopla could you explain the above in reference to your answer to me earlier in the game as seen in this quote:

Why wouldn't you be more active? This game has a double day so you'd have MORE chance to influence the game, you are a vig (going into night even if you misvigged the game would still most likely be odd?), and why not just say "I'm trying a new playstyle" when I called you out on it?

The claim isn't even that elaborate - she either chose to really underplay because she's a PR, or chose to fake a PR as a defense to her underplaying.
I won't even get into the question of why you would bother to do that in a double lynch day when her PR sort of hinges on her getting some decent reads - but let's just go back to the core question.

Ya... I had that same thought. It didn't really make sense to me either.

I don't think Hoopla is the type of person to try a different style of play and then fake being a PR like that. I thought she just pulled the "different play style thing out of her ass" but she didn't. I'm just really iffy on everything right now. I should have just hammered her last night and saved everyone the hassle.

Hi! I totally PMed myko and was told that the word "recruited" might be used to describe what a voyeur would see Person A doing to Person B if Person A neighbourised Person B, but it was not explicitly confirmed nor denied that the word was or would be used.

You guys can draw the conclusions from that coz I am too tired.

i just got a PM from myko clarifying that same thing (presumably since quilford messaged him?). he said recruit could be used in those terms, in the same way investigation could be used to describe a tracker. before he implied to me that it wasn't the case.

btw the thing i was driving at last night for anyone who cares at this point is that this isnt a post you make when "maybe the neighborization would come up as a recruit?" and its also not the kind of post you make before you check to make sure 100% theres no way a voyeur could get that result on you.
