I agree with this wholeheartedly. :)

I'd also heavily suggest getting AIM/Skype.You'll likely be lost in the dust without one of the two.

Why in the world would you need either of those for this game?

It's almost as if it's a social game!

That said, sitechat will likely work just fine, but obviously not for any group/alliance related chat.

Because that's how a good portion of people work their alliance magic. or just coordinate challenges.

Signups are a formula:

We have
x
applicants,
We are in need of
x+1
more,
So please keep applying. :)

16-(x+1)=x
15 - x = x
15 = 2x

Therefore you have 7.5 applicants.

They need 17 people because at least one person has to be rejected.

I actually personally think that it would be better to start off anonymous, so people when you do play a non-anon, you're not looked at as the newbie. Although I may be biased because I actually prefer these things to be offsite, and I don't have AIM/Skype and I'm never planning on getting them, so I'd just get left behind no matter what.

Just my two cents. I'm not actually planning on playing this.
Never be sorry for your little time.

It's not when you get there, it's always the climb.

I was never able to actually get involved in these games or understand them until I played in Mario Bros Survivor, my first "serious" game. Seeing how players usually play and hearing about past experiences made me get used to things more quickly.

Plus if it's your first game, you have no meta, which may be a good thing if you're a good player and can get things rolling.

If you're new and considering signing up for this, do it. Even though you're new and it's not anonymous, you can still do well. When I played in Mario, I was new to this site and had only played in one Survivor. I knew almost nobody, but I ended up winning and making a lot of new friends.

Just be active, talk to people, and compete in challenges, and you should be fine.

And be sexy. Don't forget to be sexy. Aim to be as sexy as me, but as we all know that can't happen, so just be as sexy as you can and I'm sure you'd do well. :3

You could set an example of sexyness :)

I'm still mourning over the fact that Stoutland and Toxicroak decided it would be best to leave Forretress out of the equation... :'(

:P

Really though, I'm still thinking about it. :3

Also, I love how this game hasn't even started and we're all, "Newbies--We love 'em!"
I mean yes this is the case, but it's nice to see multiple people state this fact.

It would raise the average sexiness to skyrocketing levels, I don't think I can even handle it!

This game needs Blastoide to show all the newbies how to strut their stuff. Also, there has been a real lack of Blastoide in many games lately.
