Ahh, I just realized that he talked to Feel It about reasoning.

Hm. That dissipates my town read on him a bit, but still, Rach's done more scummy actions than him, so I want her to die first.

I would still want to hammer Mara - gives us information if she /does/ flip scum, and the interactions we get from the lynch, plus Mara's reads, will be helpful if she flips town.

She's saying that she purposefully pushed on Smoker to test how much Mara is willing to defend him. She thought that if Mara doubts her townread on him just a little, it would be the norm for town. However Mara kept insisting that he is town, which is more likely to come from a scum who actually

Smoker is town, and Rach found that scummy.

I doubt it's that difficult to get that from Rach's post, even for a newbie. And I cannot see how this is scummy. This is clearly town-Rach trying to read Mara.

I don't see scum-Mara trying to push a counterwagon that she knows I don't agree with. She knows I can make people do things and it would be a lost cause if she didn't have my approval. She would try to push notscience or someone else that I found scummy. The fact she insists on Rach and VT, two people I find very town, tells me that she doesn't care about that. She might actually be town for that.

White-knighting isn't scummy, it's a play-style tell and it's bull shit because she knows that, when I get a good town-read, I defend it regardless of alignment no matter what everyone else thinks

When I ask her about her never seeing me do such, she avoids the question and, when I ask her again she said she would have to review games which is fine, but when the game of reference is one where she was scum and she saw me stick myself to her biggest attacker as well as it probably being a memorable game (for the wrong reasons albiet) because of what Grey decided to use to attack her with. It isn't something someone readily forgets

and then, when I bring up games where I have done the exact same thing, just as early she doesn't even comment on it. She is calling me scummy for something that has to do with my personality and my playstyle, especially as an IC

Oh Gods Grey, TBH other than you agreeing with him that I was scum, and EVERYONE in that game said Grey was town, not one person saw his play as scummy. Especially the part where he said he was 110% sure I was scum and then made personal attacks against me and my fiance for no good reason? Umm I was kinda focused on him on that game Mara. Personal attacks have NO business in a mafia game.

It is still a scum tell even if YOU do it as town as well as scum. For example, in my first Newbie game a dude went way beyond WKing me, making me unlynchable. I chose wrongly in LYLO and scum won.

Your scum read on me seems rather OMGUSy too. BTW when I flip Town what will you do then Mara?

Hmm yeah I don't really think Mara is mafia at this point, she looked pretty genuine the last few posts or so under all this fire from Wisdom and not science. I like Wisdom's explanation that "Mara wouldn't insist on VT and Rach being scum, two of his town reads" it seems like mafia would try to divert attention to a better lynch or something.
Also Wisdom I think looks better now, I think he might have towntold more than not science at this point

Actually the case on notscience is interesting, I guess I never thought that a lot of people play similarly for their scum and town game. I actually skimmed 1402 with both notscience and Wisdom as mafia, and notscience looked very town by his carefreeness and Wisdom kept asking questions repeatedly looking like he was contributing a lot to the town. Even though Wisdom looked different that game I mean he says he plays differently every game so I mean I guess that makes sense.
