Mafia QT
Dead QT
This game was both "quick" and agonizingly slow at the same time. Never would I imagined I'd have had to get some many replacements in this game. When I played this setup originally about a year ago, I had a really good time with it. I think this setup is exquisite in its simplicity. I mean, I thought the scum did a fair job, but I don't think they ever had to really break a sweat. That OGML lynch was a bit tense, but, surprisingly, no one followed through on it. Shane was quick to move, but Jacob and fitz got cold feet. I thought the Amrun kill was strange at the time, but after listening to Amrun in the Dead QT, I changed my opinion on that. It was good for the long term. Really though, it was disinterest that killed the town more than anything. It's a pretty sad state of things when you have to replace over half the playerlist, and, going into D3, F-16 is the only original player among 4 replacements.
That said, I am much appreciative of my replacements!
I think the scum MVP has to be F-16 if only because he made it through the entire game and was able to brush criticism of him aside consistently. Redelphic did a solid job coming into the game and coming up with the assist though, and he deserves some credit for giving that slot at least a pulse (which is all it needed against this town, really). Them working as a tag team on D3 to get the mislynch off was good teamwork. The town MVP for me was Nacho, all things considered. I refuse to acknowledge any player that replaces out this recognition, or I'd be more inclined to look Jake's way. Nacho unfortunately replaced into a slot that was kind of looked at as scummy, but his start was rock solid. It's easy to see why he was killed almost as soon as he started. Amrun played well while she was alive, but when you die on D1 it's hard to have a lasting influence.
Good job, scum. gg all!
