Considering running a very basic intrigue-type game, the structure of which I stole from a much more complex game on another forum.

That said, it's not worth running with less than 6 people (and 6 is probably still too low) so I'd like to gauge interest.
PM me if you are interested based on the following:

-The timing system is similar to a Nightless setup; rounds (compare Days) will last 48 hours.
-Basically everyone is similar to a Lyncher; that is, they have certain set (randomized) targets that must die before they can win. Some of these targets will be public knowledge, and some will not.
-The killing of targets is done through voting. You may vote by public ballot, private ballot, or both. Only your most recent vote will be counted.
-Whoever has the most votes at the end of the round is out of the game.
-You may conspire with whomever you like, including by setting up a QT (or QTs). I needn't be privy to any such private communication.
-Further, there is an economy of sorts to the game: I act as a buyer and seller of information. You never know what word might get out; even a secret ballot might not be so secret.

That's pretty much how it works. As I said, if YOU (yes, YOU) are interested, please PM me.

If this is a mafia game adaptation (which it looks like to me), I'd run it through mith first to see if where it should be run.

It's not particularly Mafia in that there isn't a set informed minority/uninformed majority dynamic going on, nor a factional kill or indeed any factions at all beyond the shifting alliances that ought to take place in-game.

In my utterly worthless opinion, it's far enough from mafia that it wouldn't be acceptable in a normal queue, so provided no actual Skittles say otherwise, I don't have an issue with it.

(it could be flavored in a slightly less mafia-related format, I'll agree)

It does indeed look a bit similar. The wincons I think are slightly different, as is the tradey bit, but still.

Would you be terribly offended if I ran it (presuming interest)?

Blackberry wasn't offended when I ran sequels of EtE. Multiple times.

Not at all! ^_^

I think the wincon sounds the same as you're explaining it... in my games each player had to eliminate certain players (and indirectly, there were other players gunning for them, and although not directly stated, they ideally want to get the people out who are gunning for them). Season 2 had a bonus where if you got out your target, you learn of someone who is going after you. Season 3 had a twist where one target of each person was technically public knowledge. :-P

Just letting everyone know that I will still be running my Pokemon-themed anon game in March! I'm currently working on designing an entirely new region, a new plot, and new twists! It will be mainly challenge-based with no set tribes, and in most cases, the two players who finish in last on an elimination challenge must have a Pokemon battle on Showdown with accounts created by moi, and the loser will be out of the game for good. The game will alternate between reward challenges and elimination challenges, with reward challenges giving players new Pokemon, and money to buy TMs or items from the shop. The game will be called PokeOcalypse, with 24 players, and I'm now accepting requests to be put on a notification list for when sign-ups open. Hurry, because the end of the Pokemon world is upon us!

Also, I had to pause production of the game until today since PokeOcalypse will include Pokemon from all 6 Generations! But when the base stats and movesets of the Gen VI Pokemon are revealed, I will be able to make their distribution points in the game balanced. :)

So I'm kind of looking for something to host -
not
a Survivor, there's a pretty big queue for that already. I've already got a theme I want to do, also. If anyone wants to give me an idea, I'll see what I can do.

Being totally honest, I don't think I've ever watched that. I'd need to look up on it
at least
, but it could be hilarious with the given theme.

More ideas are always welcome, too.
