The other option would be running all the PMs by a neutral person in the Commune who also knows everyone and could tell me if something wasn't acceptable. But, again, these people are my real life friends and I love them all, so it wouldn't be mean spirited.
i mean I think a "hey is it okay if I possibly base a role pm on you" to everyone would be enough with the understanding their may be some good natured banter/mocking
you'll find interest in almost any scummers themed game esp. since a lot of people would have met them at meets and such. its definitely niche but i don't see 2) being a factor since about as many people found the flavour hilarious as were offended by it so w/e nonissue
are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?

Personally, I think this would be best. It shouldn't be hard to find someone from the Commune/area who isn't going to have time to play. Add them to the review group.
Has a Bioshock Theme been done? I would want to add Infinite mechanic(s) or at least flavor so even if the answer is yes (which I believe it is, since I remember reading one maybe?) I would think it could be (re)done if there's interest, which I bet there could be. Hi.
someone comes to you and says, "here is the thing that i wrote that makes fun of you. can i use it in my game?" there is a cost to saying "no you can't use that." You look like you can't take a joke at your expense, and knowing Reck, it's unlikely to come without some pressure.

*sigh* We, as individuals, can handle our own interpersonal dynamics without your assistance, thank you. If we have a problem, none of us have issue with telling Reck (or anyone else) to fuck right off.
I appreciate the intent behind this post, but it's pretty demeaning, to Reck individually and the Commune as a whole.
The commune is not a monolithic entity. Regardless, I don't think I'm somehow out of line approaching this with some caution considering recent history, quadz. That said, I anticipate that such a game would be fine regardless of approval mechanism, not just because the commune is full of people who all take jokes really well but because I expect that such jokes would be made with less malice.

I'm fine with saying no to all his shitty ideas.
The problem would be finding any ideas to say yes to after those were eliminated.
This is probably a long way off, but here it is:
Rumors.
In the game there are a set of rumors stated in the start of the game that may or may not be true. The town and the mafia are tasked with the job of finding out if the rumors are true or false, as well as their ordinary roles.
What's the best way to encourage the players to make an honest guess at the rumors?
Waiting for the OK to run the game, get more help, and be accepted. I'm still a newb, so please be patient.

Well, I think you can give the player who can correctly guess the rumor a reward that would give them an advantage on the game. Say, Player X correctly guessed a rumor, then he will get reward like a one-shot night action or a kill immunity, or night action immunity... whatever you can think of that would fit the kind of game you want to make.
You'd need a penalty for getting it wrong to discourage random guesses unless you're going to have a much larger number of possible answers than 'true' and 'false'.
Has a "uWish" ever occurred, or would anyone express interest in it? You would have to send in a wish which may bestow thee with a role that is atypical or something special! All depending on wording (simple or complex) and creativity! Prior to game start, which the roles would be determined a day or so afterwards... Which may require plenty of balancing if necessary. :/
I blame you for this.
For I have been awaiting for another heart pounding segment of

I wish for Kami-nii-sama to have better naming skills.
I already got someone interested in this so might as well post it here

send in at least 3 roles off the wiki and get one of them. roles can have up to 1 modifier, or use vanilla as a base to gain another modifier. (I could also accept roles that aren't necessarily on the wiki as long as they're well known and defined enough, and not too insane)
definitely will end up being bastard cause crazy roles are fun, but I promise I won't make it too unfair
(i'll host this when it gets to the 3 month mark mith has preemptively told me that my offsite experience is "probably fine". if they turn around and and say it's not I'll flip over so many tables i don't even)

That's what I said on SiteChat. Apparently it's a little bit different than that.

Call me Lily instead. Avatar is Bellossom from Pokemon! drawn by Ether.

I just came up with 2 theme ideas, and I wanted to see if there would be interest in the games:
Fringe Mafia
- I've already looked it up, and there have been 2 mini theme games based on the source material before, but they only focused on certain seasons. I'm thinking of a Large Theme that uses characters from the series's entire 5 season run. And trust me, I can go obscure.
Joss Whedon Mafia: The Musical
- 13 player Mini Theme game. I'm just going to leave it at that.
I really need to stop coming up with Theme ideas...
