Hope! At long last, there was hope. Perhaps now one of the trio's members had been taken care of, the others would give up. An idealistic vision indeed... and a fatally flawed one, at that.

The next day, everyone met at the hall as usual. The notion of this event being 'usual' was a peculiar, and slightly unsettling one. Perhaps over time people would be desentitised to the idea of these lynches... but not now.

Everyone was accounted for, except for... YES YES YES. Alarm bells rung in peoples' minds. All went to look for him. It turns out they didn't have to look very far.

YES YES YES was found in his back yard. He had been impaled by a giant tree branch. It seemed almost symbolically defiant, as though the two wrongdoers were now upping their ante following the loss of their comrade. There was no subtlety or intrigue behind this murder. Both sides had now drawn blood... and neither liked it.

HC did the exact same thing that scum Hermy did in the role fishing thing. I am thinking HC could still be scum. I know you all explained it is possible to fish for who is what role but that didn't seem to be what Hermy or HC was doing.
