You see... rolecop gives info to scum, why would you want scum to have rolecop? at worst it helps them find the town PR and backup in 1 night (shot+rolecop) and at best it tells them who isn't a PR.

Ok this is getting confusing. Look at Nacho's question again. He's asking what ability scum would WANT. Which translates to what ability we'd want to block. Then add wifom and stir.

I had a misconception. I thought that the mafia needed to guess which ability town would want to give them or make sure they couldn't have the night before. Never mind that part. No outguessing from that end.

I was thinking that mafia would want rolecop. Like I said, I had a misconception about the mechanics. I thought there was some interplay between what the mafia wants/chooses for their ability and what town chooses. I went back and reread the mechanics after Sakura's question because I could tell there was a disconnect of some sort.
