Soooo.
I know this is really early, but I think Huntress is town. Like I think I'm really, really sure.No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

Mollie. I directly 'caught' scum Goodmorning in two of her most recent games. However I didn't replace into one, but I replaced into another, but failed to get her lynched before I was NK'd.In post 54, pirate mollie wrote:you wouldn't be her scum partner would you
When I say I need more time, I need more time.
Want to back off and let me have it?No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.

The answer is no, but I mean there has to be a reason why you're asking it. I'm just not ready to dance with you yet.
I'm caught up. I have never been not caught up.No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.

Random voting when you think you have a scum read isn't that good.In post 64, pirate mollie wrote:

Probably better to put a vote on someone you believe is scum rather than just vote because you don't want people to be left out.No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.

I don't see her doing any of those things. So far she's voted for TierShift on a hunch, and she's given Rothwell some advice on how to get started. Seems neutral to me.In post 62, pirate mollie wrote:r u being for real or are u trolling me
gm is a top notch player she is setting up early game play so she doesn't have to
she looks nervous, tentative and drops off. <----scum
Duly noted. But shouldn't you take your vote off of her, then?In post 51, Malakittens wrote:Soooo.

I was ready to let that vote go anyway, and Malakittens seems pretty trustworthy so far.
UNVOTE: Huntress
And I've got a better vote anyway. That would be...
VOTE: pirate mollie
Not OMGUS, I just don't like the way she's locked onto goodmorning after only three unextraordinary posts. It is a bit weird for her to not even vote for goodmorning, too... That's a bit of a mystery to me. Maybe she wanted to see my reaction, which would be town, or maybe she wanted to look more town by toning down her attack on GM a bit and pretending to be trying to gauge my reaction, which would be scum. I can't tell, but she seems more scum to me because of her arguments against goodmorning.-

it is in a 9 player game when you are potential partner hunting. don't even pretend like you do not know that this is what I am doing since I do it in nearly every 9 player game I play inIn post 65, Malakittens wrote:

okay are you posturing for effect cos of the newbies or are you posting this post as legit wrt me. I can't tellProbably better to put a vote on someone you believe is scum rather than just vote because you don't want people to be left out.

I hunt potential partners after I get a flip. I only do it before hand if I'm really, really sure. I'm not pretending that I don't know what you're doing, but the fact is saying me if I'm scum partners with x isn't going to accomplish anything and you know that.In post 68, pirate mollie wrote:

I'm being legit. I rather not have newbies think they can just lazy vote someone else when they are thinking someone else is a scum read.No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.

then we have a different approach to newbies.
I am not going to baby them cos when they get into the larger games they will be eaten alive. I think you DO know what I am doing if you gave it half a second to think about it.
me saying you are scum partners with x does accomplish something in that I can gauge your reaction <------ why the fuck are you trying to illegitimise this game approach on a site where this is what a lot of us do?whew!-

Who's ever going to admit truthfully to yes I'm his scum partner.
I do which is why I haven't voted you.
Our newbies need to appear though. One has already admitted to lurking; which can be taken two ways. He's mafia and scared to post or he's town and is lost. It's like why haven't I jumped on him because I'm waiting to see what happens. No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.

while I am trying to give her space since she is an IC and fairly new, I think that it is her very neutral approach that is troubling. she seems to be trying to blend in.In post 66, Neater Plastic wrote:I don't see her doing any of those things. I am not "locked down" onto anything. plz don't misrep me like that. my reads are generally pretty fluid as I gather more info. Not OMGUS, I just don't like the way she's locked onto goodmorning after only three unextraordinary posts. and I think you are over thinking my motivations and what is funny is that I do this too! I often think scum are more diabolical then they actuallyareand it bites me in the ass every single time.
so your case so far:
1. I think gm is scum
2. you have a different read
so why am I scummy again?whew!-

Sorry I'm not, I guess? And what do you mean, "drops off"?she looks nervous, tentative and drops off. <----scum
Probably I should say this better. "I" and "C" are two letters which can directly and/or indirectly influence the thought processes of newbs, whether consciously or not.
Normally, I don't care overmuch about this.
Normally, I have better than gut by now and the newbies have posted more.
Make of that what you will.
