As for DP's replace-out, it's pretty null and for WIFOM purposes can be interpreted either way - see morph the cat subbing in for Cabd as scum in Mismatched Flavor, for instance.

Honestly, I replaced with DB to reset to prod counter. I did NOT realize the prod counter here was at 48 and not at 72 hours and I had no idea how busy I would be because I went back home for the weekend.

Even if he is at V/LA, the posts that he made out of V/LA are not similar, theyre longer, thats one thing. He put more effort into not dying, even if he got lynched day 1. Another is he complains about being voted for V/LA whereas in his scumgame above he voted people for activity reasons.
Pretty much the fact that he isnt fighting his lynch so hard here, compared to that game (even if he had claimed VT here and there). He's pretty much accepted his non deadline lynch.

Wowzer, L-1 in RVS! I don't usually like that, but I didn't even notice that bans were revealed until Neo mentioned it so it does seem like a major red flag.

Okay, I say wowzers and I see no reason why I shouldn't or why it is scummy, so that is just lame. And my thought was that scum would have already picked what to ban so would notice it, but town might skip over it really easily. Also, I'm a goat.

I'm not crazy about Pie. Her thinking doesn't make sense to me. She's acting like one of Sakura's actions in one game as town are lacking in this game, and so therefore she is scum. I could write a novel without any Es, but if I write a novel with Es I'm no less of an author. And actions in the RVS aren't typically very calculated anyway, so holding anyone to a RVS expectation based on meta seems unreasonable.

I don't understand what your problem with Sakura is at all, which is probably a bad thing.

I didn't realize there was an intent on me. And I really shouldn't have even joined this game knowing that I'd be busy, but you people are ridiculous. Every time I go away you are like, "Oh, he's avoiding the thread! Let's see if he follows through with his posting!" I had a play this week that just closed a few hours ago, and I haven't even been here, I've done almost nothing, and then I come back to find myself at L-1 with not so much as a decent case against me and you still persistently twist my words.

I'm a VT, at least, so killing me won't lose you anything but a lynch. But I don't even know why I have so many votes given the limited amount of content I've provided. It is actually kind of ridiculous.

On one hand, this reaction seemed town because it's one of those "you people sure are quick with lynching aren't you" tone posts and it seems genuine. But also this player follows it up with lots of details though, and the "killing me won't lose you anything but a lynch" thing smells very fishy/scummy. Then the last part "I don't even know why I have so many votes" feels off too.

In other words, it's late at night and this person is 'scummy' in a conventional way and doesn't hide those parts very well.

if scummy != scum then what the hell are we supposed to do? without information, for me scummy behavior by definition is the main indication of whether someone is scum or not. it may be the case that smth may appear scummy at first sight, but it really came from town motivation, which at least IMO would make it not scummy. I see your point about pushing for content, but I don't see how this is at all a natural thought to have.
