Pokemon X/Y Thread

Anix: As soon as I get home. (Same for the pokemon profile pic)

So guys, I want to make a gimmicky electric team as good as I can make it. The only other restriction is that I want to include a shiny Galvantula that I will bring back from Black when Pokebank opens.

Any suggestions?

I was thinking something along the lines of
Rotom-H for status (WoW/Thunderwave/ReturnVolt/Overheat)
Apharos|Mega (Wall?)
Jolteon
Zapdos (For dealing with Equake)
Galvantula for Sticky Web + CompoundEyes/Thunder
Maybe Elecvire/Zebraika for Physical attacks? Not sure about the last pokemon

I know this is gimicky as hell and will be owned by a bunch of teams, but help me make the best of this bad situation

We had good luck with Lanturn back in doubles, but it's probably worse in singles without being able to laugh off surf/discharge.

I was thinking about lanturn for the 6th slot, but then I will have no physical attacker. Would that be a huge problem?

Rotom + forms have Levitate, so that's another way to deal with Equake, FYI. Also, Electivire > Zebraika IMO. It gets better coverage and isn't frail.

I know about Rotom, but Equake is so prevalent that I might as well have multiple floating pokemons.

Thundurus is an idea, will check it out.

i've decided to play with my fave cute pokemon

so i have a team with a skitty, skiddo, torchic and pikachu

as well as some less cute ones but i aim to replace them asap

I think that you should take Rotom-W instead of Rotom-H. Washing machine best Rotom and ground types will be the biggest threat to your team.
For the last slot, you should grab Politoed or Kyogre so that you can have rain and have 100% accuracy thunders.
Zekrom would also be fantastic somewhere to both fulfill the physical attacker role and counter dragons.

If anyone restarting would like to slip me any legendary Pokemon they may have in the soon-to-be-erased file, I'd really appreciate it. I'm trying to fill the Pokedex and especially after Pokebank hits, every little extra I have to trade helps.

Honedge is awful because of its moveset you get when you pick it up. That said, its evolutions are worth it in every way - great moveset and stats, able to be anything you want it to be.
