Again a tight group of mafia-playing friends is shaken up by the discovery of a body. It is someone who they all know, and no one would have expected: the person who volunteered modding the game they were going to play tomorrow. Upon police investigation, something odd is discovered. The mod is shot with two bullets from two different guns at the exact same time. Even odder are the two messages found on the scene. "Fight fire with Fire" one says, and the other says "They were walking on thin Ice anyway". And now, it's up the group of friends again to find the ones responsible for this vile and horrible act. Can you handle it? Can you avenge the murder of your dear friend? Welcome to "Who shot the Mod? - Fire and Ice edition".

Is it balanced? Is it fair? Do you have a snowball's chance in hell?

I don't know.

There's 3 scum and 6 town. One of the scum is a scum traitor, and, of course, the 2 regular scum will not know who s/he is. While it's not bastard by any stretch, there's a lot of potential for nightkill choices to result in a spectacular display of hilarity.

2. In all communications with the moderator, you must be honest.
3. Do not do anything that would be considered cheating.

6. Do not quote moderator communications.
7. Do not attempt to use a robust form of cryptography. Do not use invisible text.

Other information:

Before the game starts, mafia must elects a townie to be the gunbearer. That player has until deadline runs out to shoot another player. If the gunbearer hits scum, he/she can keep the gun. If the gunbearer hits town, the gunbearer dies and the targeted townie becomes the new gunbearer. If the gunbearer does not shoot by deadline, they die and the mafia pick a new gunbearer. The gunbearer is always announced and confirmed as innocent. This game is nightless

Day phases will last 2 weeks max. Night phases 48 hours. Prod cycle of 48/24. Expect the ruleset to mostly be in this form.

Site rules only allow for no more than 50% pre-ins, so I will only be able to take 4 pre-ins to the game. If you are interested in playing, pm me (If I go over the pre-in allotment I'll still make an effort to alert you when the game is about to go into signups.)

Oh, hello there!

Good! It was a pain to open a gap to the correct address of the internet.

Anyway, since I'm in correct place, here's a news for you shu- erm... school... Hmm.... Wait a moment.
(Ran! What was the word again? Hmm? Oh, right! Pft, I knew that!)
So I have a news for you "scummers"!

For the past few months, I've been preparing for a humble(?) game of mafia with the help of the good man named "GuyInFreezer."
So, I would like to invite 21 volunteers to join this fun event. There will be a feast after the game!

Within few more months, I'll be able to "educate" the girls so that they know what to do by the time the
incident
event starts, while finishing up the planning and such.

So why am I here now, not few months later?
Well, I'm here to give out pre-in tickets, of course!

Attack on Titan Mafia
is a Mini Theme game for 13 players, based on the popular manga series by Hajime Isayama. Coming to the Mini Theme forum very very soon (I should've gotten this ad out sooner T___T)

Player-related Information:
  • 1. All players must have completed at least two games outside of the Newbie queue. I can make exceptions for non-MS games and such; just PM me explaining your situation.
  • 2. Up to two hydra can play in this game.
  • 3. Pre-ins available!
Setup-related Information:
  • 1. The plot flavor and setup of the game may be inspired by the manga, anime adaptation, or the weird fanfic-esque things that go on in my head. Flavor knowledge is not necessary to play effectively, but may make the game more enjoyable!
  • 2.
    Character flavor does not determine alignment.
    Meaning that the "good guys" in the story might not necessarily be town, and the "bad guys" might not necessarily be scum!
  • 3. No jesters, cults, lynchers, or other dumb things.
  • 4. There is a fancy night-only mechanic involving the 3D Maneuver Gear technology from the story!! Human-aligned players will be able to use a limited special ability to avoid Titan actions during the Night, leading to general confusion and misdirection.


**Also still looking for a backup mod for this as I plan to be on a backpacking trip for most of February, and the game might not be over by then.**
