be restarted depending on interest/how many people I can get to help. Feel free to suggest games.
Here's what the MMC plans are:
Pizzadudes7 will be the banker again.
Blackjack, baccarat, keno, pokette, roulette, sic bo, and video poker are planned as permanent games. The ones played in the MMC last time will have the rules unchanged except for minor changes to blackjack and sic bo, and baccarat will use the same rules as my last game. Video poker is unsettled; the main issue is what variations to put on offer and how many "machines" of each, but at least bonus poker, deuces wild, jacks or better, and joker poker will be on offer.
I am seriously considering allowing the MMC virtual currency to be used to bet on Super Bowl XLVIII. I want to do a "football squares" format.

Hey all, I had an idea about creating a mole game with a couple twists to help give incentives to the players and the mole...
The Mole: Cutthroat
Standard mole game with challenges playing for money, quizzes, and executions at the end. Here were the twists:
There are TWO teams, each with its own mole. Players are eliminated from both teams each round. To win, you have to be the player
on the team that won more money
.
An honorary "Best Mole" award is given to the Mole who did the best job of sabotage at the end of the game.
In each round, TWO players from EACH team are eliminated: the person who scores lowest on the quiz, and whoever that player thought was the Mole. (If that person can't be eliminated- they have an exemption, or they really ARE the Mole- then the second person eliminated would be the second lowest scorer.)
I like that idea a lot, but the fact that there are 4 eliminations every round would make it end very quickly, and there's no way for the players that aren't the mole to really prevent the mole from sabotaging everything they possibly can. In my opinion you should do what the other Mole game did, making it so the mole only wins if there's no point when everyone thought he/she was the mole on a quiz, and if a certain threshold of money was not reached.

The goal isn't for everyone to win in the mole, it's for one non-mole to win at the end?In the one I played, Tragedy and KageLord were doing a final quiz to see who better knew who the mole was (me).

It's an interesting idea. Compared to the other version, this more so forces the players to make the decision between sabatoshing to look like the mole or gain more money to ensure they actually win if or when they get to the end. On the other hand, it might possibly make it more difficult for the moles to slip by.
How many players and how would it be decided who is the best mole between the two?

Yeah, I understand that, it's just that with the normal format of the show, the mole doesn't have any motivation to sabotage tasks other than the fact that they have no chance of winning the money themselves anyways.

The other Mole games are fine, but the problem I always find is how to balance that 'threshold' so that it's fair for both the players or the mole to win. That's why I feel this version takes that problem away because you basically have 2 identical games where you can now compare which team/mole is doing the better job. The eliminations do seem harsh, but I think that keeps everybody's interests high and it won't drag out forever like large games typically do. Edit: plus, I always like making games that have been played many times before with new twists/formats to keep them fresh :P

Ideally I would hope maybe 18 players, but I fear that might be a stretch. 9 people on each team with double eliminations means it would last 4 rounds with maybe 3 challenges each round, so 12 challenges total. Best mole would probably be a combination between the number of challenges/money sabotaged plus the number of times people suspect you during the quiz. Then again I'm still in planning mode if I even want to do this...just rambling thoughts :D

does anyone remember that game (i think it was max who ran it) where it was all bam! preferential voting! and you gave votes to other people and whoever had the least votes after each round got knocked out
because i've been meaning to make a multi-member version of that for like a few months now and i just can't find it anywhere and i can't even gauge interest until i know what i'm doing
edit: xalxe helped (thanks xalxe) and it looks like it got rolled back out of existence but watch this space regardless
There's been discussion on a review board of sorts, please go give your thoughts here.

If you're interested in running/playing large games in the future, you may want to pop in and have a look at this proposal; I'd like to have opinions.
