I restarted the server earlier this evening on Tierce's ping from IRC.
At this point, however, our hosting server itself is down.
I will either let everyone know when I receive updates or we will look into an alternative solution if this becomes long-term.
Either that, or just keep trying to log in - you may know sooner then I when the server is back up. We'll see.
Sorry for the inconvenience, in the meantime I recommend checking out ETL's ISO and looking into Modded Minecraft, if you're at all interested!

In post 15838 , EspeciallyTheLies wrote: modded server announcement Modded Minecraft is going 1.6.4
The FTB launcher is starting to release mudpacks for 1.6.4. We will be using the new Direwolf20 pack.
To join us:
Download the FTB launcher and update it if necessary.
Select the Direwolf20 mudpack for 1.6.4 v 1.0.2 and click launch to download the pack. Follow any prompts given until Minecraft launches, then exit the game to go back to the launcher.
Download DartCraft version 0.2.13 and save it to FTB/Direwolf20_1_6_4/minecraft/mods
You only have to do this once to set the pack up. Once done, you are ready to play. Send me a PM with your username for whitelisting (because I don't have the old one).
Launch Minecraft from FTB and use the following IP to connect to the server:
If you have any questions or need help with anything, blakewashere is my co-admin, and both of us can usually be found on IRC #mafiacraft .
Spoiler: Notes about specific mods
MYSTCRAFT This is the only thing I'm going to be a dick about. Everything else you have free reign.
You need to register your ages.
That means when you make
one, send me a PM, email, text message, etc, with the AGE NUMBER. Each person is allowed 2 registered ages - no more.
If you wish to donate an age to the server or share it with everyone, that's fine; I'll allow up to 3 "shared server ages" that would not count as your own, but it has to serve a good purpose. I'll be doing mass age clean-up every Sunday, and any age not registered with me goes bye-bye without warning. (So if you want to experiment and make a bunch of crap ages, that's fine, but they'll be gone before the week is out unless you choose to register it in place of one of your others.)
DARTCRAFT This mod changes the look of the health and experience bar to look like the old Zelda games. This is a personal preference and you can change it in the dartcraft config file.
1) Open the file FTB/Direwolf20_1_6_4/minecraft/config/dartcraft in a text editor.
2) Find the option for Zelda health and change it from true to false.
3) Save.
OPTIFINE This isn't actually in the pack, but you can use it if you want. However, because some mods in this pack have chosen not to support OptiFine, if you DO want to use it, you'll need the following workaround:
Download OptiFine C6 Standard
Download optifinefml.7z
Follow these steps:
1. Make a copy of the OptiFine jar file you just downloaded.
2. Open optifinefml.7z and the OptiFine jar in an archive program (7-Zip or WinRAR or WinZip).
3. Copy the contents of optifinefml.7z into the OptiFine jar.
4. Close archive program.
5. Copy the OptiFine jar file to FTB/Direwolf20_1_6_4/minecraft/mods
Rules:
1) Don't be a jerk.
2) Register your Mystcraft ages.
That's it!
<3
PS.
Here's the post I'm referring to! Most of it should be accurate but I can't be 100% certain.
There's more information in the OP for those interested, take it easy guys!

An open letter,
I don't know who you are. I don't know what desperate need you had of two item frames and/or a clown fish and a puffer fish. But did you
really
have to take them from the fishing hut and not replace them? You could have asked. I have plenty of each to share around if you really need them. Taking them without even a polite notice or leaving a sign behind is a jerk move.
Why do people do this? I decorate to make things pretty, having someone come around and take the items I placed for no good purpose is just petty, pointless thievery.

It might have unwillingly been me. I didn't take anything, but I logged out yesterday at that fishing hut in the water near bag end. I don't have anything in my inventory, but I might have knocked it down by accident? If so, sorry!

Thanks for the concern, but that's unlikely to have happened--the frames were on both sides of a wall with a door between them. There'd have to be a heck of a coincidence to knock items down four times (both fish and the frames).
