No, I was testing whether you'd respond like this.In post 178, Aisa wrote:Thanks. But, you know, Google Translator and dictionaries exist.
Now, can you leave other comments like this for postgame and stop buddying me?
Your form of ultra-paranoia genuinely helps no-one, Aisa.-

I think it is more likely that Zekrom is a clueless townie who hasn't gotten his play together yet and is trying to be aggressive to compensate than that shewrf is a clueless townie who is just lurking and throwing out votes without reasons because he doesn't know any better. Or, put the opposite way, it seems more rational that shewrf is trying a lurking strategy as scum or just doesn't know what else to do than that scum-Zekrom would be acting so blatantly anti-town and drawing extra attention to himself. In post 173, Aisa wrote:

Sorry, I should have given that reasoning upfront instead of being pithy and non-productive.
I am also voting sherwf in the hopes that, if he is in fact town, he will show up, start actually playing this game and convince me that my vote would be better spent in a way other than having to excise an un-useful player Day 1 for the sake of the town long-term.-

Where do you other suspicions lie? Why are you so fine with them being lynched? Is viable good enough for you or do you want to actually find scum?In post 160, Drake Crusader wrote:VOTE: Shewrf

I do want to find scum. I feel quill would be my number 1 scum read. However, having shewrf even if he is a clueless townie he isn't really helping at all. To me I would rather have him gone then pursue quill. If shewrf is a scum then it is a win. If he is going to post once in awhile to avoid being replaced then how is he going to be a contribution to the town ?In post 185, Dean Harper wrote:

Zekrom after his recent posts he seems more a bad townie to me now. I read into his posts now to someone who isn't quite sure to what to do at this moment in time."We all of us need to be toppled off the throne of self, my dear," he said. No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

I think quiet players should be pestered with questions, then voted upon if they don't answer fully and little reservation. In post 68, Dean Harper wrote:@Kublai: What is your opinion on this situation of pretty quiet players and who do you think is simply a quiet poster and who do you think is earning a scummier read for it?
He's prod-dodging and derserves rope.
Sorry everyone, using a library computer right now because the wireless reciever I ordered hasn't arrived yet. Apparently 3-5 business days means 13 real life days when you factor in weekends and federal holidays (MLK day).
Here is my read on players in this game:
Aisa - town (many reasons)
Bert - ??? - Really not liking his playstyle. He seems like he's aiming to confuse and frustrate others, but whether he's doing it for good or evil isn't evident. Not a lynch target for today, need more observation.
Dean Harper - scum - very scum. early appeasement followed by a change in behavior to avoid further appeasement-type behavior
Drake Crusader - null/scum - case on TSO/Quill scumteam isveryforced. Drops it at earliest convinience.
Quill - town - townmindset evident.
shewrf - scum - over a 7 day period he makes 1 post, then explains that he thought everyone was random posting for 7 days. Scrambles to vote without reasons. Likely clueless scum.
T S O - town - Not sure why/how he missed the how to confirm line at the bottom of his role PM. Could indicate that he was trying to extend pre-game scum talk, but I'm not seeing any other red flags so he's in the town pile.
Zekrom25 - null/town - Nothing scummy, nothing super-town either. Seems to be earnestly trying.
Happy holding vote on Dean Harper. Will switch to other scumreads if necessary as deadline approaches.
Will post up a better case on Dean Harper to convince you all to join me in a bit.Occasionally intellectually honest

(Come on, Zekrom. I know you're watching us; say something.)
Sorry, I haven't had much free time in the last days. I'll try to stick around as much as possible in these last few days before the deadline.
I don't think we should lynch shewrf. He doesn't seem like clueless scum, there have been attempts to explain the situation.
He seems just a person who doesn't care even a little bit for the game. The best solution would be a force-replacement, sooo...
@Mod: Can we get a force-replacement for shewrf if enough people agree?
So let's suppose for a moment shewrf is a clueless townie. Would lynch a clueless townie over your top scumread just for the sake of getting rid of him?In post 187, Drake Crusader wrote: I do want to find scum. I feel quill would be my number 1 scum read. A lynch on a useless town is still a lynch on a town slot.
"If shewrf is scum then it is a win"
Thanks, captain obvious. One could make the same point for every player in every Mafia game ever.
Your change of opinion on Zekrom is kinda fast... it's also backed up by incorrect logic. Not being sure of what to do isn't indicative of alignment.-

He seems dodgy and doesn't really show any of his opinions it feels. The way he comes in and just votes shewrf for the reasoning of entertaining doesn't seem like a town feel. It's is like he is playing once again dodgy. I see that as a scum tell. I still see his interactions in the beginning of the game with TSO kinda scummy. So in all that makes him my number 1 for the moment. In post 190, Dean Harper wrote:@Drake: Why do you find Quill as your #1 scum read?
UNVOTE:
VOTE: Quill
I gather that we are just going have to live with him. Unless mod comes back and says we can vote on him getting mandatory replaced. ( I wouldn't mind)
Scum come first then the clueless townie. However, I still have an inkling that he is a clueless scum. However, my feelings for quill extent much further than a "I like pizza" post."We all of us need to be toppled off the throne of self, my dear," he said. "Perched up there the tears of others are never upon our own cheek.”

First, before I answer, I still do not see my unvote of Aisa as appeasement. I was satisfied with her answers to my questions. I told you the truth behind my reasoning. In post 195, Kublai Khan wrote:Actually, need to clarify something first....
@Dean Harper - What is your opinion of Bert? Why unvote Bert after shewrf votes for him? What is your take on the Bert/shewrf relationship?
My opinion of Bert is that he isn't contributing enough to the game per post. Looking at many other of his posts in other threads, a majority of them lack a large amount of content or discussion. However, they're often discussion starting points. They've been about half and half discussion points and fluff in this game. The biggest alarm is that Bert's posts have also been half defense of shewrf. I've been checking how often he does that, and it's almost every time someone discusses shewrf's behavior. They're fairly buddied (almost solely by Bert's actions).
But, I would rather lynch shewrf. Because if he does come up scum, then we have ample reason to lynch Bert afterward: He has constantly defended shewrf's actions and not really shown much willingness to vote him, while not providing an even close to acceptable amount of discussion to the thread (after promising to do so).
So I took my vote off of Bert and didn't put it on shewrf immediately to see how Bert would react. But he hasn't reacted so far, and I need to explain myself now."If you say live together, die alone to me Jack, I'm gonna punch you in your face."
