Does anyone else have problems accessing mafiascum on verizon's network? I get a "resolving Host" for about a minute before can not connect pages pop up in 5 different browsers, no matter what i do to try to fix it. i've cleared all cookies cache history etc in all my browsers, and everything.

I had to proxy my way in to the site.

Vanilla Coal / Redstone / Lapis / Diamond / Emerald / Gold, Metallurgy Silver, Thermal Expansion Lead, Vanilla Iron, Metallurgy Copper / Tin / Manganese / Sulfur / Bitumen / Saltpeter / Mithril, Biomes of Plenty Ruby, Project: Red Ruby / Sapphire, Thermal Expansion Ferrous, IndustrialCraft Uranium, GregTech Ruby, AND OTHERS --- that's what's in that chest and all of them have to be input into the Digital Miner via their OreDict entries or it won't mine them. Either that or Silk Touch a block of each Ore you want it to mine. It's a little bit more setup than any other autominer, but worth it.

Once you have it set up with the Ores you want it to mine, it'll scan within the radius you give it (max is 32 blocks) and it'll mine ONLY those blocks. No excess Stone or Cobble. You can set it to Silk Touch blocks if you're mining stuff you can process better than just regular mining (e.g. Redstone, Lapis, and gemstones with Fortune picks), and you can set it to auto-replace the Ores it mines with any block you have enough of, which you'll want to do to prevent little holes in the ground all around your base where it mined Ores, which could lead to a bunch of Mobs spawning, etc. (I just pump shit tons of Stone into it from a Thermal Expansion Igneous Extruder.)

It's 3x2x2 blocks in size, accepts power through every side, and has a clearly marked input (for the replacing block) and output (for mined Ores/etc.). It can even auto-pull blocks from the input and auto-push blocks into the output.

Everybody thank Tierce for being extra attentive about keeping me in line behind my time-tables!

Here's some handy advice from Mojang on how to use snapshots, if you haven't before...

To get snapshots, open your launcher and press the “New Profile” button. Call it “snapshots” and check the box saying “Enable experimental development snapshots” and save. To switch to the normal version, you can select it in the dropdown at the bottom left corner of the launcher.

...or (if ours is the only server you care about having the version for, or you just don't want a new profile or something) just go to "Profile Editor" in the launcher, double-click on your active profile (which might be the only one there) and select "snapshot 14w02c" from the dropdown menu under the "Version Selection" section.
