Read your posts in response to Bulbazak. They are in sync with my thoughts. Truth of everything is, he presented a terrible case to push someone who I believe is town and had a wagon that was easily abused. I don't really know what else to say. You haven't given me much reason for voting me, and haven't been taking a stance on Bulbazak.-

That thing I said, in the pre-game?
Yeah. That's still a thing. I mean, 67/229 posts? In a 19 player game? No thanks.
VOTE: emogirl123.
I'll take my chances with a 17-player game instead, thank you very much.

Your posts aren't doing anything for town. You're voting for the person attacking you, for crying out loud. Not pushing anyone, not looking around, just spamming the game and then wondering why people are voting for you.
If I sat down and counted, I'd wager that half the posts in this game are about you. I want you gone, to clear the air and allow the game to proceed.
I don't even care if you're scum, at this point. You're being a VI.
Congratulations. You have become a policy lynch. Now she's in purple, now she's the turtle~

L-3. Seems pretty realistic to me. Take a moment to soak in what would have happened if I allowed Garmr to continue flailing when he was obviously town.In post 221, Maestro wrote:and FTR I don't think it's realistic to say that either of you would be snowball-lynched off of an accusation before page 10-

It's a very odd and unnatural way to phrase things. I could understand if she said she saw a bad case on a townread, or if she said she was watching the development of the Garmr wagon looking for opportunistic scum, but no, she said she wasIn post 208, Tebow wrote:Bulbazak's harping on the use of the phrase 'actual case' to derive the idea that emogirl has admitted she wants to vote town is just craplogic in extremis.preparing, meaning premeditation, to vote whoever provided anactual, i.e. genuine (something that scum can't do), case on Garmr. Say it's crap logic all you want to, but that one sentence provided a valuable insight into her thought process and showed scum motivation in her intent.
Something felt off about the interaction, and it made me wonder if we were looking at scum theatre. And as far as scum theatre goes, pregame is the safest place to pull it off.In post 208, Tebow wrote: Maybe he's just bad enough to think that two players derping around in pre-game is an actual indication of a scum link, but the alternative hypothesis, which is more charitable about his ability and less about his motives, seems totally plausible.
I saw possible scum theatre in pregame. I started getting a slight scumread on Garmr once the game began, but I wanted to figure out Emerald first. Emo starts hard defending Garmr left and right, finally attacking his attacker after Garmr called a 1v1. Everything snapped into place for me, and I pursued my read.In post 219, Maestro wrote: also just saw this - the progression from "lol is this scumtheatre?" THEN to "dual scumreads after a possible chainsaw" doesn't really make sense to me, but I might not be understanding correctly

Do you really want me to go into great detail about what I meant by actual case when I clarified earlier? Is this too subtle for you?In post 181, emogirl123 wrote:So you suggest that every scum push must have no case? Makes this game rather easy.-

I'm voting the same person you are 2 spots ahead of you but remaining confused about what looks like your general lack of commitment to this supposedly-strong Scumteam-read of yours. In post 236, Bulbazak wrote:Hey! I've found scum. What are you doing?
"Susptected Scum theatre" + "was correct???" = *votehope between them* doesn't look like a logical trajectory.-

P.S. In Mafia, the enemy of my enemy is not always my friend. Additionally, the attacker of somebody I find mildly illogical and not-100%-Town is not my friend. I should have no qualms about voting who I want, when I want.In post 227, emogirl123 wrote:Okay, so you vote off his attacker. Brilliant.-

I felt more confident in my Emo read. I still think they're both scum, but after going back and forth with Emo, my scumread on her is a bit stronger. In post 238, Maestro wrote: I'm voting the same person you are 2 spots ahead of you but remaining confused about what looks like your general lack of commitment to this supposedly-strong Scumteam-read of yours.

Whoever brought up multiball, and whoever followed that up with the big discussion about town win percentages in various size games, and whoever else participated in that circus side-show of a conversation, none of these things even remotely resemble scumhunting. It's all white noise that looks on the surface like helpful activity but is actually just a fine place for scum to hide. I'll have to go back and read it all later because my eyes glazed over the first time. I believe Sotty already called this out. Listen to her.
Emogirl wagon is like flypaper for easy, lazy votes.
Maenara, have you policy lynched (or tried to policy lynch) before as town? Can you link to a game where that has happened?
Albert, hi. Nice to see you. Speak up.
NS, hi. Am I interpreting your reference to "Maestro's townbloc" as a townread on Maestro correctly? If so, where are you getting that townread from?
More importantly the emogirl wagon is drawing votes away from garmr, which despite emo's insistence on townreading him (and saying that defending him is defending herself, which it isn't) is still the wagon we should actually be pursuing.-

#170 - this is actually the only post from emogirl I don't like. The rest of it is null.
#188 - garmr: "if one is scum the other is not of the same alignment." I dunno, are you sure?
#193 - Not sure if I like this vote either... or the waffly townread on me.
#200 - Ok Maestro is obvtown now
#204 - garmr again, you vote emogirl but you want to go back to arguing with aegor?
So... 170 aside, I don't really see anything scum in emogirl's posts. I don't think she's intentionally confusing, I think she's just confused. Not feeling great about garmr though.
vote: Garmr
@garmr I'd like to hear more about your emogirl vote please. Do you agree with bulba and maestro? Why do you think they are town?
pre-edit: i like you, ohgodmylife. Can we be friends?-

Largely, it's "innocent until proven guilty (or he scumslips)."In post 245, OhGodMyLife wrote: NS, hi. Am I interpreting your reference to "Maestro's townbloc" as a townread on Maestro correctly? If so, where are you getting that townread from?
So, yeah, no townread. I'm just willing to be in his townbloc for now.
