because we can afford to, and it is beneficial for us to force scum to kill the stronger players as early as they can, and still have to deal with stronger players who can sniff scum out later on. We will be getting rid of the weakest links, getting rid of the people scum could easily be using as mislynch bait. we aren't even going to think of lyncing Norl down unless we have to, everyone below him is, what I consider to be, the town block (or, rather should be)

There are parts of this that I don't like very much.

I'd like to propose a different order, but I don't think it should be hard and fast.

The xenogears town came really close to losing because they didn't scumhunt "below the line". They lynched through that group without a lot of thought.

That's blatantly false. (We're talking about post #7007) - my first part was me trying to explain to zMuffinMan how I scumhunt, but my points all dealing with you are all relating into this game. I even asked you some outstanding questions, and you brickwalling like this is frustrating.

If you're town, then this is useless. Repeating endlessly "SAD is a bad lynch, Proph and Sakura are scum" doesn't mean /anything/ - I haven't seen you give any reasoning regarding Sakura or I as scum, and I still don't know why SAD is a bad lynch, since I haven't read the thread fully, and may not.

I have learned over my mafia years that it's important not to be too picky as to who I am lynching - if I have them as a Not Town/scum read and they're the largest wagon, I have no reservations about placing my vote on there.

Arguing about some stuff like "I agree that X is scummy, but Y is scummier and that's here's why they should be lynched" leads to a loss of pace, which is dangerous.

For context, I was scum in that game and was voting a inactive lurker (sXe).

Cantripmancer was my scumbuddy in that game.

I can't really recall any examples off the top of my head using this; on Day 1 I like to poke at as much people as possible to generate reads and just generally scumhunt, and in late game it usually comes down to PoE.

We're in a rare state in that it's Day 5 and the game hasn't really devolved into PoE stage yet (it might have for some of you, isn't for me), and so I'm fine with jumping around SAD and Titus to do later analysis on their wagons and also because I think they're both scum (I'm interrogating Titus right now to see if I can find any evidence to disprove this, as SAD and Titus declaring each other town and Titus exclaiming why she can't be scum w/Generic is setting off my VI cold feet bells)

I think there's a desire to force it to PoE stage, but there isn't consensus on who's for sure town. I kinda think some townreads need to get back to basics before this game day ends.

I disagree with your worldview about Pie or that he is in any danger at all of getting lynched. But putting that aside, you are arguing that we should lynch lynchbait, but isn't that exactly what scum want? They lynch the weaker townies (with approval from the Masons, no less) and kill the stronger townies (and conftown) at night. If you think someone is town and easy to lynch, it falls on you to give everything you got to derail the lynch. if I think someone is lynchbait and town, I defend them to the death.

I think Titus is scum. I thought Cephrir was scum as well. So, I am happy to lynch Titus today. But I obviously disagree with your next targets. I think making a lynch-list purely based on the likelihood of that person being mafia (in other words, your reads from scummiest to towniest) and lynching the scummiest players is beneficial. I am still unable to grasp the added advantage we get from taking player skill into account. It seems to be a more sophisticated version of a "don't want this player in LYLO" move which I strongly disagree with.

I would draw my willing to eventually lynch line somewhere around prophylaxis/zmuffin and reluctantly move it upward if necessary.

Mara absolutely shouldn't be on a lynch list IMO. I think we can end this game before lylo and I don't like the idea of putting utility lynches ahead of scumhunting because that will probably just draw the game out and potentially put it in the hands of scum.

I am sick of proving my innocence to a town that will not listen after my other suppositions were proven right, such as scum conning the masons.
