You want to mess around like that once, fine... but when you consistently posting in an anti-town fashion, the I feel that warrants a vote.
Why do you think scumminess is the reason why people don't post Super Serious in the first 35 posts of a game?
In post 257, DeathNote wrote:I don't think this is how I would have worded this question but I think I understand what you are asking? Would you agree that most players play differently as scum then they would as town? That is how they are normally found out. Some players even go to extremes by posting in a drastic fashion. For example, I tend to be slightly less aggressive as scum while posting more nonsense. My extreme is spamming posts while be unsure of what I really want. I have seen other players not post at all as scum while being active as town. Everyone's play style is different but I suppose that's common knowledge right?
In this case, I see his erratic play and "sarcastic" mislynch push as scummy because he is playing to an extreme.
The point of my question gets to the bolded part of your post: why do you think erratic play and "sarcastic" mislynch pushes that happen within the first 35 posts of a game are attributable to scumminess rather than, say, stupid and typical RVS behavior?

You came into the game trying to find a serious lynch to push when we were still mostly in a fun little RVS session. That's like walking into a circus and arresting the clown for assault and battery.

Not that I mind comparing myself to a clown, mind you.

Still, you should really stop making something out of nothing. You just said players react differently- that's wonderful. But me reacting differently from whoever you compared me to makes me scum pushing for a clearly RVS mislynch? I mean, I know my power to vote and unvote must be really scary, but man, come on. :(

Everything stims from something. I just pushed something that caught my eye and have really enjoyed were it went.

I think you are likely scum. The same goes for Mollie who I will probably end up having to switch too because so many people find you town. Fake claiming IC muse have done wonders for you.

Peregrine, are you a Spurs fan?

Now GC. He's been active lurking up to this point. I mean read his ISO. It's all lovely blending into the background, not doing anything to push the town along type scum. The type of player you don't really tend to notice until the end of the game when he's revealed as scum. Fortunately, I have a lot of experience with this type of scum and have grown accustomed to spotting them from a mile away.

This intrigues me. Since I have about 1 post where I've said anything that is remotely scumhunting, I'd like to hear about the show vs the results.

I felt his vote on UT was just as bad as Zekrom's but Zekrom's the one getting all the heat for it. Best I have at the moment.

*Groans*- I hate Day One, particularly early Day One.

It makes it so much easier for other people to read you and for you to read other people if everyone does this. It simply makes games more fun to play and far harder for the scum to win (which is always a good thing).

Otherwise we might as well just roll a dice to determine who to lynch.
