"Good morning, trainers, I hope you slept well, cause now it's time to test what you can do!" Thomas announced slyly.

"For today's challenge, teams will take turns grabbing glass plates that I have in a stack in the center of my arena. There are

21 plates

in the stack, and the

one on the bottom

holds the gym badge inside of it! Each team will take turns sending 1 player into the middle of the arena blindfolded, where that player can choose to either take

1, 2, or 3 plates

with him. The teams will go back and forth until no plates remain, with the

team that took the last plate

coming out victorious!

Both team captains must submit a list of how many plates their team will grab

on each round

within

48 hours

. Submissions for all 10 possible rounds will be submitted

at the same time

. If at any point, there are less plates than a team tries to take, then that team slips and takes no plates.

The members of the winning team will all receive first choice of Pokemon over members of the losing team, with order of distribution determined by the tiebreaker question. The captain of the winning team must choose 2 players from the losing team to send into the first elimination battle. For convenience's sake, team captains please submit your player selections in the case of a win before the challenge is over.

Then this is how the game would play out:

Turn 1:
Team 1 takes 3 plates, Team 2 takes 1 plate (17 plates remaining)

Turn 2:
Team 1 takes 2 plates, Team 2 takes 1 plate (14 plates remaining)

Turn 3:
Team 1 takes 3 plates, Team 2 takes 2 plates (9 plates remaining)

Turn 4:
Team 1 takes 1 plate, Team 2 takes 1 plate (7 plates remaining)

Turn 5:
Team 1 takes 3 plates, Team 2 takes 3 plates (1 plate remaining)

Turn 6
Team 1 tries to take 2 plates, failure. Team 2 takes 1 plate. Team 2 wins![/color]
