Neil is not a doctor.

No true town aligned player would claim doctor in the way he did. Because guess what? He just added a whole bunch of WIFOM to both doctor roles tonight. Who do they protect? Is Neil really doctor? We practically had a guarantee that I would not be NK'd tonight, and now there's a whole lot of WIFOM over whether or not I will be protected, possibly resulting in me not being protected tonight

That was incredibly scummy.

). And doctors (especially considering this setup) would NOT easily out themselves. Were you even AT any kind of L-1?

Neil was not at L-1, and instead of merely claiming Doc, he said he would not be protecting me tonight.. which throws the doctors into major WIFOM.

All he had to do was just claim doc. And he didn't even have to do that.

Yeah. He and Moon are both scum.

Post 448: you spend it saying "yeah these are the reasons why I saw you as town". What are you doing with this post? Are you vocally saying "yeah see see guys yeah he was town I knew it all along!". That seems like such, such, a gross over-justification for yourself.

Post 454: unprompted, you add onto your case. You say "yeah look at this other post where I saw he was town!".

Here is what I see:
- Scum partner claims doc
- You say "yeah see he was town everyone"
- "Hey look at these posts guys to show he's telling the truth"

Do you know why everyone else just simply "unvoted"? They do what townies do, they take their word for it. You maybe do an ISO and see if there's a crumb, but other than that, you take their word for it because it's the only info you have. Yet, here we are, Moonlight. You actively spent time, saying, out loud, why we should believe his claim. The key word is unprompted. Not until Trickster and me on this page had openly said it (unless someone said it on Page 19 too), did anyone express doubt.

@Trickster,

While I agree with you that Neil is possibly fake claiming, I'm not willing to lynch someone who claimed yet based on principle. The real PR should continue doing their thing unabated. Eventually scum are going to try to hunt them down, and after that flip, you're free to kill off the fake claim.

We need to lynch Neil today because we're no completely screwed by his fake claim until he's lynched. If he is not lynched today and he answers Sakura's question by saying he protected me last night or he doesn't answer Sakura's question at all, then there is added a load of WIFOM to the doctor's roles tonight. SO much so it could result in my being unprotected

I agree with this, claiming doc was a gamble but not necessarily scummy, however declaring that he wont protect you means that the other doc or docs have to guess at whether or not to protect you.

If you are a doc and you protected Trick last night, protect him tonight. If you are doc who didn't, then protect someone else. Since Neil claimed if he doesn't die tonight then we know hes lying scum.

It isn't. I'm saying I have a less risky way to do this:

If Neil is a doc, he gets his head out of his ass and does the exact same thing he did last night.
The other doc or docs do as well.

If Neil is a doc, you are protected.
If he isn't you are still protected.

If scum doesn't kill Neil then we know hes scum, and can promptly lynch him tomorrow.

This way you are guaranteed safe tonight.

I have seen tons of claims on this site and mafia in general where people are under limited pressure and claim. So while Neil's claim was hasty I'm prepared to believe at it this stage - but, it is different when we have two docs so a counter claim isn't easy.

but - why rush into lynching him? if he is a doc, the docs can keep doing what they are doing. if he isn't, then the docs can keep doing what they are doing.

neil will either be confirmed town by the end, dead, or when one of the docs die if he is lying then the other one can confirm it.

for that reason, I think it's unlikely he is lying. but we certainly don't need to lynch him today.

So what we're saying is neil is an angry player, who isn't very good either, so he could either be scum or a bad town player. Good to know I can tune out "COME ON GUYS, PLAY MAFIA".

I still believe it's a fake claim (but like we said, it will show itself eventually) and Moonlight is completely scummy for all the reasons I gave.
