That was everything I wanted and more. 10/10 would attend more weddings.

in non king's landing stuff I thought the other scenes were really strong too, theon/ramsay in particular when shaving was GOOD. bran's heart tree stuff was alo pretty good. very good episode overall, yeah.
Yeah, I knew it was Olenna, due to what Reck showed and the eye contact Tyrion made with her before giving Joffrey the second wine cup that would kill Joff. Plus, other stuff. Though Olenna did give a really convincing scene when Joffrey was dying, yelling really loudly to help him.

One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Yeah... although I've gotta admit I dunno if I'm feeling the Boltons. I mean they make for good TV but good god the torture porn is at a fever pitch and IDK that I can handle it anymore (seriously the whole opening "hunt" was way too much)
Oh, I was wondering why they used Bronn for that scene.
I discussed it with my sister, and I think it's more because Bronn makes for far more interesting TV than Ser Ilyn Payne and has very little to do with the actor of Ilyn Payne possibly being sick(I didn't hear anything about it so i'm completely ignorant to his situation.)

All Book Spoilers:
I mean after Tyrion flees KL, Broon goes off and marries Lollys who we haven't really seen in-show yet, so probably Bronn's just going to play Ilyn and hang around with Jamie instead of fucking off and naming his kid Tyrion. Also potentially puts him in the picture when Brienne takes Jamie to Lady Stoneheart, which is neat.

As stated, the Payne actor was very ill, so his character was essentially written out of the show.
Love the lampshade-hanging about Bronn's ability to keep a secret, given that Payne's unfortunate muteness was a large reason for his selection.
@Venmar:
The show also set up Olenna's involvement wonderfully last season. She of all the characters seemed the most intereste in Joffrey's character and clearly cared about Margaery's well-being. If you re-watch the scene, let me know if you notice anything interesting about M's behavior.

Yup! The scene where Olenna asks Sansa on her opinion of Joffrey, and Sansa calls Joffrey a monster, comes the most vividly to mind. Olenna both in the book and in the show makes it clear that she thinks her husband, and her son Mace are/were both idiots or very incapable. It's even another reason to suspect (though a bit a stretch) that Olenna was avoiding for a third idiot (Joffrey) in a row in stepping into the Tyrell family. I mean, she is known as the Queen of
Thorns
, right?

I agree with others' concerns about the Boltons. I think the addition of lots of people being interested in torture reduces the impact of Ramsay. I don't like his psycho girlfriend and also wasn't a fan of his father's hand cutting henchman all enjoying torture as a topic of conversation. Yes, Ramsay is still creepy, but in the books the chapters were uncomfortable to read and I think that was assisted by Ramsay being a bit more isolated in his passion for torture.
