Well, yeah. I mean, I've even said this. The question is - is he doing it as town or scum?

I have recent meta of him doing this as Town. I haven't seen him as scum.

TSO's right about one thing: That's a Beli-tell, not an alignment-tell.

Sometimes something pops out in the middle of clowning that's alignment indicative; I never know what it'll be ahead of time, but the clowning

itself

is alignment-null. The only difference between alignments is that while town I think "I hope something useful to someone pops out of this" and while scum the word "something" is replaced with "nothing."

Yeah I don't approve of the word "clowning" for this purpose.

The verb "clownposting" however is a reference to a stupid, insubstantial post and is valid, imo. It's not when someone is just spamming while joking around after smoking a lot of opium.

Espresso seems more genuine upon reread, and I don't think his confusion was fake.

Albert seems to be consistently reading people for bad reasons. Town can use bad reasoning, but the fact that he's consistently doing it seems like he's trying to artificially come up with reasoning for his reads.

Belisaurus, can you explain post 164?
