I would like to get the leagues set up a bit earlier than we usually do, because finding a draft time is always a nightmare. But next week is too soon, yeah. Another few weeks then.

If I were determining the divisions this year, these are possibilities I would consider:

List Mod Division: Talitha, LlamaFluff, hasdgfas, zoraster
Others Returning: BS2000, Internet Stranger, Locke Lamora, pickemgenius
Promoted: Kmd4390, Debonair Danny DiPietro, Nero Cain, Rob13

Adventurers In Memoriam: Talitha, Internet Stranger, BS2000, hasdgfas
Former L2/L3 Champs: LlamaFluff, Locke Lamora, Kmd4390, Rob13
The Rest: pickemgenius, zoraster, Debonair Danny DiPietro, Nero Cain

I'd recommend randomizing divisions to make it fair, but I specifically would argue against Former L2/L3 Champs being a division. That pits all the people who've won lower leagues (and therefore are likely above average) together in one division. It would make a "Division of Death" imo, and I'm tired of having Groups of Death after the World Cup.

L1 is almost entirely comprised of "above average" players. It's going to be a slaughterhouse no matter how you stack the groups.

I strongly prefer themed divisions of some sort, to give it some sort of flavor.

Could always go with geographical divisions... except most of these weirdos don't make their location public... and I'd likely end up in a Midwest division with Hascow.
