You seriously need to stop. WTF. Even Salamance told you to stop. Like voting yourself in RVS is one thing but voting yourself on page 30 something is entirely different.
In post 780, Espressojet wrote:You know what? No. I won't. Just out of spite. It's up to those who aren't voting to decide my fate at this point. If you all want a mislynch just because I voted myself as a joke, go on ahead.
Don't be spiteful, and don't self-vote. And don't claim it was a joke.
my personal, unofficial goal in this game is to survive to the end. It's been that way since I got my role PM, and I'm not about to give it up.
See, this makes me want to lynch you. Because if you're town, then surviving isn't your goal. Killing scum is. The latter leads to the other, but if you're trying to do the former, you're not trying to win the game for town.
In post 785, Espressojet wrote:OK, policy lynch me. Great excuse to stop scumhunting and get a town kill. I self vote ALL THE TIME!
besides, IT GOES AGAIN EVERYBODY'S WIN CON
Because of that, it'll get you policy lynched or maybe just straight up banned from games a lot.

Pretty sure this is bullshit.
In post 829, Albert B. Rampage wrote:Hold on Jargonaut. Explain to me why I didn't hammer Esspressojet if I'm scum.
Because we've come close to lynching you already and you don't want to look bad when Espresso flips town on your hammer. Duh.
We should have lynched Albert yesterday, and we really should do it today.
Interesting explanation. I have a follow up question for you Paschendale. Why would I look bad for hammering Esspressojet who has said himself that he is tunnelling on me? Why would I look bad for hammering someone who self-votes, with a majority of the town suspecting him if I include myself?
The truth is that I wouldn't "look bad" from hammering somebody who has not given me a chance in this entire game, who has decided to vote for me no matter what. No sir, the reason that I didn't hammer, is that I think he might be stubborn town. This practically confirms me as town here.
Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.
In post 831, Paschendale wrote:We should have lynched Albert yesterday, and we really should do it today.
We should have lynched me yesterday, instead of me and Anatole quicklynching Venrob-scum?
So your theory, is that I can hammer scum, and not get any credit for it, but if I hammer town, assuming Espressojet is town, I get all the blame?
Your logic doesn't impress me.
I think that Jargonaut is extremely suspicious for jumping on me here. Paschendale fares no better for his lack of depth in his analysis and reading of this game.
Unvote, vote Jargonaut
Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.
It's difficult to sidestep the fact that I deliberately hammered scum (not only did I do this, but encouraged town to help me do it), and deliberately did NOT hammer a player that can no stretch of the imagination be scum with me.
You COULD argue that I'm scum trying to manipulate Esspressojet to my own ends, but really, would I believe that I could be successful at doing that? Because he's not sheeping me, and I'm sure he still suspects me even now. I've placed myself into a weaker position, intentionally, because I'm loyal to my win condition of eliminating scum, and I think Espressojet is town.
See how quick the scum turned on me after I showed vulnerability by not lynching someone who will side with anyone who is against my existence. Do you seriously believe that if I'm scum, I can't see the writing on the wall, the people who are pre-disposed to my lynch, such as Beli, Jarg, and Espressojet? I see the signs. I defy them. I will lynch scum; not my rivals, not tunnelling town, SCUM. Scum like Jargonaut.
Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.
I don't really get the reaction to her thoughts about scum probably getting fake claims. I thought the same thing. I think she's likely town for her stance on policy lynching espresso, as she'd already expressed enough suspicion of him to jump on his wagon safely if she'd wanted to.
In post 814, Juls wrote:Okie dokie. I will try not to be quick in the future? Cause knowing your role PM is scummy.
Knowing your role PM has fuck all to do with what I'm pushing. Hypothesising that scum have sample role PMs/fakeclaims in full role PM format without needing any time to think about it does.
Your reaction to my vote sure as hell doesn't ease my mind any. Putting words (lies) in another player's mouth is scummy. Pointing out what is scummy about yourself is scummy (I've done it as scum and got attacked by a scumbuddy for it).
Bringing up SUPREME2 also pings my scumdar because of fucking course you wouldn't play the exact same way in 2 back to back scumgames against the same player, so why would a townie want to foment that WIFOM?
And of course jumping on a policy lynch for a self vote eliminates accountability for the flip. I love the fact that I'm using an attack that was levelled against me.
Also, #412 tells me Reck's not the SK, since the same argument could be applied against him and a SK wouldn't want to start that conversation. Maybe hito, though.

The below is why I mentioned knowing my role PM. This is your first attempt to paint me as scum.

The rest is fair, I guess. At the very least I won't argue it.

I had already started that conversation in 389. It would be foolish to run from it.

hitogoroshi - Hito had a lot of good postings. Pretty strong town read here but a little surprised he and Reck lived through the night.
