yes, so obviously power roles are lying. But what makes mine so suspicious given that there is an overabundance of claimed investigative and protective roles?
This is why I hate when people try to break set ups. People act like their approach to it is unbiased, and essentially conclude "this one role is scummy because I have preconceived notions of how mods make their games and I am most unfamiliar with this claim."
Lets go through your masterpost so I can explain why these entire last two days have been annoying, and why I am suspicious of people trying to dictate night actions when it easily be solved by playing mafia the normal way (you know, lynching people whose GAMEPLAY you feel is scummy and NOT lynching people because of a claim). I am playing devil's advocate here to some extent, I'm just trying to prove a point.

This actually also lowers my JOAT power by 50% if used on them (since my RB / BP wont work with a strongman and my vig/cop wont work if I got RB'd)
Some mods put Strongman roles in to confuse people. There was also a lot of claimed bulletproofs in the game.
I think there is a decent chance you are right about there being a town doctor
, but the actions that have taken place in the game are still more important to look at because, as you say, this town is ridiculously overpowered and doesn't really need a doc. Scum could risk take a risk and
lie
about being a doc. And if you are looking at Titus/TSO, their gameplay has been...less than savory, and it is really just their claim that is keeping them alive at this point.

so lets say the remining players are scum
the setup will be:
3-3-1-1-7
if there are indies then it will be either
2-2-1-1-1-8
or
2-2-1-1-1-1-7
I think 2-2-1-1-1-1-7 is.. way too much? but we cant get it out of consideration.
Not necessarily. I don't think there are that many indies, but your assumptions on scum are incorrect.
1) We have only had TWO flips from each scum team. If the setup is 3-3-1-1-7 (most likely), that does not mean the last scums must also have the same role. Perhaps each remaining scum is something unique to that team.
2) Given that literally everyone has claimed a power role, it can literally be
anyone
. Maybe scum were given fake claims like doc or tracker, or even backup doctor.
3) Take the premise we agree on of the town having "too much power" in any case. How does your analysis determine which ones are "okay" for the town to have? And given that you find about half the roles suspicious, do you really think a PoE argument for who should be lynched would be to our benefit?

But I like to set myself here because I have proven myself towny enough to be confirmed and I have some thoughts about my role. It is actually not that powerful after looking at scum roles. I actually think about this and I also have somethings to talk about later
Not only are you calling yourself town like it has some weight for us (which I always find gross), but you are also ignoring the face that your role is the ultimate wild card. Both scum and town could have it, and your powers still conflict/overlap other claimed roles.
-Vig overlaps with the fact that there are at least 3 factions that can kill. Everyone shoots and hits in one day and 4 people are dead.
-Bulletproof overlaps with claimed commuter, and why would we need so many bulletproofs if we have a doctor and a back up doctor?
-Roleblocker claim is the one you have going for you when it comes to allignment, because I doubt scum would have two roleblocking abilities. Yet you come after me for having a redirector ability? Aren't we essentially in the same boat here?
-Cop with a lie detector, a tracker, a watcher, and a role cop? No. So one Investigative role HAS to be scum at this point because that is ridiculous. And yet the two people you find most scummy for their roles are myself and the claimed doc. Yeah, seems a little self serving, doesn't it. It would scums best interest to hide among investigative roles and try to keep them all alive to protect them. I can just see me getting lynched, Titus and TV getting killed, then us being left with a bunch of investigative roles + a commuter. I wonder who would get lynched next? probably the commuter.
From my perspective, it is also suspicious that you have only used a single one of your roles. You ask Spruce to "prove" his commuter status but you have nothing to prove yours.
In post 1213, ZZZX wrote:PeregrineV (Miles Matheson, Town Watcher claim, N1 Sala, N2 Titus, N3 PM) : I dont like his claim that much but he is confirmed to be NOT a member of one of the scum teams. His watcher claim doesnt make that much sense from the point of the roles. Why would scum have a watcher? I dont know. But could he be a scum RoleCop? Since a Strongman/Roleblocker is a 100% scum role this is a posibility. I must keep an eye at him.
A watcher will always make sense in a game 4 (claimed) killing roles. What makes a watcher more suspicious than a tracker? Do you think both the tracker and the watcher would be scum?
In post 1213, ZZZX wrote:PMysterious (Charlie Matheson, Town Tracker claim, N1 spruce, N2 Pere, N3 LM): For this claim to be valid I expect scumto have a ninja of some sorts. Did PM actually give pere's target correcty? I put him here since titus thinks he is town... for some reason
As continued with the last, you are pointing out all the problems with this excess of investigative roles but still trying to lynch the non-investigative roles. Also, tracker does not equal ninja.
In post 1213, ZZZX wrote:Wake88/spruce (Justine Allenford, Town x-shot Commuter) : A commuter is pro town usually but something feels off. This would be a perfect defensive role but yet I expected a survivor to hold it instead of a town player. Also he could easily lie using any ninja role or something. If toasty ends scum I am vigging this guy. Plz commute and prove me wrong.
"Something feels off." What does that mean? What about it feels off? If we have a game in which 4 kills can take place in one day, what makes a commuter any more or less suspicious than bulletproof claims?
Now that I've done a role-"gamebreaking" thing for the first time ever, I feel like it would make more sense for their to be at least one scum among the investigative roles, and the fact that ZZZX is placing myself, Titus, and Spruce as the most suspicious is really hitting my gut in the wrong place.
