I'll run Dungeon World for people. It's like D&D but much more fun.

Weekends or weeknight?

I want to give an RP a serious try eventually, I just need people that are willing to work with my lack of experience.
Taking a break from the site.

I could be into it. My familiarity would depend on the edition, though.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

I know nothing of RP as well but have always wanted to try it in a comfortable setting. I hear it helps people get better at writing...

Okay, I've decided.

Running
The Gates of Firestorm Peak
(no worries if you never heard of it, don't look it up (it's my module) using Dungeon World rules. The rules are fairly light - for board gamers, a little heavier than Settlers of Catan, but lighter than Battlestar Galactica. About 10 minutes to explain, usual classes (fighter, wizard, cleric, druid, paladin, etc.). Thursday nights, we'll start next thursday if I get 3-4 people interested.

Yay, Marvel Dice Masters! I need to try that sometime.

I'm hosting a day to teach friends how to play Bridge tomorrow, and I am unbelievably excited.

Picked up some Dice Master boosters nothing of note.

But looking for more Co-Op board games. Have Zombicide. Thinking about picking up Arkham Horror..Any other suggestions aside Pandemic?

Ghost stories, hanabi, red november, shadows over camelot, forbidden island, Dead Panic, castle panic, myth, fortune and glory, elder sign, descent, any of the D&D games.

I'm someone who hates co-op games, but I've managed to find a few that I actually enjoy:

Hanabi [Short, simple, elegant]
Shadows Over Camelot [A little more complex, still basic, possibly one traitor]
Betrayal at House on the Hill [Fun, chaotic, wacky, unbalanced madness]
Scotland Yard/Mr. X/Letters from Whitechapel [All vs One, work as a team to find where the SK is hiding]

Do not, under any circumstance, purchase Arkham Horror. That game is lazily made, a massive, sprawling mess of pieces and mechanics that don't gel well together. Way too complex for its own good, and absolutely no strategy involved. It's just RNG card draw! RNG dice roll! RNG RNG RNG RNG! Stay far away from it... if you really like the Lovecraftian vibe, go for Elder Sign... it's not great, but it's at least more controlled than Arkham.

I disagree with Arkham- I find it fun, and strategy does exist when you know what things can happen where. That said, it's a game that's kinda sloppy in its base and becomes better with expansions.
