His out-of-place comment after texcat called someone scum on the flimsiest of reasons has me rather suspicious.

Context:

I think one scum team is Aero, Farside, and Tree.

I have stated my reasons for Aero being scum. And, yes, they were the same as Elyse's. Flipflopping on reads. And being aggressive under pressure. And if you are one who thinks that OMGUS voting is scummy, you could include that. I, personally, don't find it scummy. I am trusting Titus who says that Aero's roleclaim is BS. I don't think it makes sense for a scum Titus to trade herself for a town GS. I realize that scum would want a town GS dead, but they have other options that don't require giving up one of their own. And if there are really 2 scum teams, they might just hope that the other scum team took care of it.

Josh noticed that Farside and Tree claimed to know that the other one was town:

104 results it returned with. Farside defending tree as town in every post. That is a lot of fucks to give about someones alignment on D1.

What I found to be compelling evidence is the vote history:
We start with the Elyse dogging of RoyalApe and both Aero and Farside voted for her.
Then Tree moved into the lead, and Elyse and I had started the Aero wagon. Farside moved to me. Aero was briefly on Oka, but then moved to me.
At VC1.6 with Aero at 7 and Tree at 4, Aero moves to notscience, Farside moves to TN.
Then at 1.7 Aero has moved to Oka.
At 1.8, after the claim, Farside moved back to me.

It looks like Aero is understandably searching for an alternate wagon. He moves his vote all over the place, except that he never moves it to Tree. And it looks like Farside is doing the same thing. Even if I thought Tree was town, if it were down to me or her, I'd vote for her. Aero was in that position and didn't vote for Tree, choosing to claim instead.

Good Job at being town Texcat. I'll vote for any of those three if we can get a consensus.

Also, Oka's play is pretty textbook newbscum. He's getting hyper defensive over nothing and tunneling on a semi-common scumread. His reads are static and he doesn't appear to actively look for scum. I also feel like, and I think this has been said before, that his scumreads are based on things that could be done as either alignment. He doesn't seem to discern the motivations for what his scumreads do, and just realizes that he can have an explainable scumread on that person. So he goes with it.
