So... I sort of started this reads list a few hours ago. It basically gives my two cents on why Tree is probably town and why everyone else voting for him is a doofus.

Soooooo..... I'm just going to give you the version before those god-awful posts. I guess this whole list is still relevant because the people on the wagon still made their votes before Tree came back and continued being a doofus. My reads stay the same.

I really don't know what Tree is anymore, but I'm sort of done defending that shit. I don't see a scum motivation, I don't see a town motivation. If you want to lynch him because he's a VI, be my guest.

I'll start from the top and work my way down. If you have questions on my reads, I'm glad to answer. Obviously nobody is "confirmed town".

Mirhawk

started off pretty lurky, but has given some good points on Oka Poka and Majiffy. He is also listening to logic quite a bit more than the rest of us, when he changed his vote because Psyche had given him some actual good points. This struck me as really townie to me, because he's listening to the town instead of having his own agenda.

I liked

Aegor

's intro post (not the one where he said he forgot the game was existant, the other one where he gave reads). He calls Tex on his BS non-reason vote, and correctly questions the stupid tree wagon. He hasn't interacted a lot besides that, but what he has done has seemed pretty townie to me.

Gameplay

's setup speculation / "Bannable info" was a bit unnecessary. However, I really liked his response to everyone deciding he should be lynched. He is leaning town for now.

hasn't actually talked much, but he's striking me as towny when he does talk.

Psyche

started off extremely not helpful, with distractions and the such. However, he has lately come to his senses and is one of the people questioning the tree votes. I'll talk about my exact thoughts about the tree wagon below.

, everybody, is not scum. People who are lynching him because he's a VI, then if that's the way you vote, I guess that's how you vote. I don't agree with it at all, and I don't think we should be lynching him. However, it's those that claim that your voting him because he's scum that I'm interested in. Let's take a look.

Claim: Innocent Child

This post was pretty obviously a joke. I don't know how you guys see that. Even if it wasn't, what's the scum motivation for doing something like that? An Innocent Child is supposed to be confirmed at the start of the game by the mod, and that obviously didn't happen. What would scum tree gain from claiming something that we already know isn't true?

Again, this is a joke. Not a very good one at this point, but still just him being idiotic.

Of course I'm not an IC, just look at the last votecount. I claimed IC to see what people did with it and I think Majiffy voting me is an attempt to look like town who doesn't care. Most people ignored it which didn't do much. Also I thought alts weren't allowed in Normal games?

This is, once again, a "PR claim" that is easily and obviously disproved when Majiffy was still fucking alive. Why would scum tree out himself like that and make a claim that we all would figure out was fake immediately? He wouldn't.

Basically, I honestly think those were tree's attempts at reaction tests. As shitty as they were, they showed us how easily scum would jump onto him to try to get to N1 faster. He's not scum, and the people using this as a reasoning for why he is are spewing out bullshit.
Tree is leaning newbtown for me.

Psyche

was providing a hell of a lot of apathy in the beginning of this game, but he's slowly come out of the shadows lately and is using some real logic.

Farside

's push on NS and Majiffy's crappy wagon earned her some town points, but she hasn't much else this game.

Alina

has been extremely quiet. I usually agree with what she's saying this game, but something seems... offish. She's also lurking with is unusual for her, but when she is present I generally agree with what she's saying.

Perv

Did he come into this game having decided to play up the VI card, but then when he realized that it wouldn't work, switched over to down-to-business Reinoe? It reminds me of his scumgame in NY175, honestly.
