Beck lied in bed, his hand on his chest, staring at the ceiling thinking about what he has done in his life. His heart beats to an odd rhythm under his hand as he thinks. He squirms to his side and stares at the doctors and people walking outside of his room, going about their business in peace. He brought up his hand to wave, when he realized the back of his hand was wet with sweat. He turned it over, realizing his hand was really warm now. All of the sudden Beck was alert and satting up, realizing he was sweating, with heat almost radiating from him. It set off one of the detectors and two doctors came in, looking at Beck curiously. When they reached out to his forehead to check his temperature, Beck recoiled backwards, crusing under his breath in pain. The doctor looked perplexed.

Beck looked at the doctors with strange fear in his eyes, unable to grasp what seemed to be going on to him.
