By the way, any of the non-posters who want to turn up and post *just* about these events without also looking over the rest of the game at some level should not do that.

I must have missed something here, why would math scumflipping mean they don't have fakeclaims? Because he hasn't claimed anything yet?

No, I don't get this either. If he claims something awful then gets lynched as scum, sure, but if he doesn't?

I was Star-Lord, I have the ability to steal stuff including the Infinity Stone from people, and I start with the Infinity Stone. I assumed that the scum would guess that I start with the Stone because that's actually how it happens in the movie, which is why I really really didn't want to claim unless we could catch scum with it.

I'm really curious now, what were the fakeclaims, if any? There are barely 13 characters in Guardians, let alone 13 'good guys'.

Edit: The mod decided to friggin MODKILL people instead of replacing them.
So 4 people died. Game died with it.

Yeah, that mod policy was ridiculous. Saying you're going to modkill people who don't meet activity requirements is fine (although, still abnormal and very strict and PROBABLY should've been mentioned in the signup thread). But the modkills on LLD & GreyICE were both completely ridiculous. I asked Grey if he had any idea he'd be modkilled, or if he was warned. No, he wasn't. He just requested replacement (because his post restriction was fucking stupid and frustrating) and the mod just modkilled him.

The rule doesn't state modkills for anything other than activity-related reasons. Then, once the modkills happened and I brought up the fact that the rule didn't mention it, he goes, "Oh, well what I meant for the rule was

, so yeah, thinking it is the same thing as saying it," and modkills me, too. I knew at that moment this game wouldn't get off the ground.

FWIW: SMP was my pick for scum before the modkills happened.

You know, if Kraglin was a prepared fakeclaim, then that likely means all the scum got minor characters. Which means given everyone's claim, this would've been pretty easy to break. My WC says I win when all threats to the Guardians are eliminated, so anyone who claimed one of the actual Guardians would've been conftown for me.

Yeah I'm gonna have to call this out for bad setup, sorry.
