That legitimately confused me.

The Essence Reaver part. Not the Manamune part.

Essence Reaver + Manamune on Jayce is a late game power build. It switches the power from Q+E to W. Manamune+W is awesome, but it eats through your mana like a school of piranhas. Essence reaver procs on each shot too, leaving your mana more-or-less intact (or at least not as badly shredded). With 40% CDR, W is up every 3.6 seconds.

Oh and it's not like AD, CDR and Lifesteal are bad on Jayce or something.

You don't need the CDR from it (you get plenty elsewhere). Lifesteal is meh. AD's good, but there's other places where you can get it with other stuff.

Yeah, but have you seen how good and well-coordinated SSW is? AND their complete stomp of Blue? I would love to see another region kick Korea's ass, but I just don't think it'll happen. Though Royal might have the best chance.

No shit, how does that matter for who you pull for? Obviously SHRC is the underdog team here, that makes me want to pull for them even more.

It's not so much about down with korea rabble rabble for me... it's that SSW's games are so fucking BORING. Sure, they have a large champion pool compared to most teams, but every single one of those champions they play is a safe meta pick. Ooh, Imp can play Twitch, Lucian, and Corki! Ahh, Mata can play Thresh, Nami, and Janna! And wooow, such range in Pawn playing Fizz, Zed, and Talon!

It's just a super boring champ pool. And while SHRC plays a lot of the same champions, they are willing to bust out shit like Fiddlesticks jungle and Pantheon jungle and bringing back the Orianna mid picks after group stage and they're just a joy to watch. It's also impressive that the team communicates by pings more than by verbal communication due to a language barrier.

I don't find SSW to be entertaining at all.

Boots 15%, Brute 10%, Masteries 5%. Anywhere else to get that final 10% is probably worse (Zephyr? Upgrade Brute to a Ghostblade and get another? Sacrifice rune slots?).

It's a late game W powerhouse build when snowballing.

Also SSW forever. I'll be sad to see Blue go, because Blue was a great team, but first and last I was a fan of President Imp and the Secret Service. They're just such a wonderful team to watch, and it's almost like they're in the same shoes as SKT last season - no team is capable of testing them at the moment (seriously, I'm 90% certain they were saving pocket picks and strategies for the SSB game, they just turned the gas up there because they knew there was no competition).

I am an ER partisan, but that's the most obvious other source of 10% CDR.

You don't always have access to it, though.

ER is 100% a late game item, but IMHO it's between that and Maw for your final item.

Blue buff is nice, but it runs out, and Jayce likes to siege forever. It's been really heavily nerfed.

My preferred Jayne build is muramana/cdr boots/lw/bc/ga/ie or bt, depending on the game.

Blue pot for the last 10% cdr.

Pretty sure most pro jayce players go something along those lines as standard
