Still doesn't explain to me why the IC?
Why not? IC's can be Scum, y'know.-

Hi all!
VOTE: aphix
You sure are digging in your heels on an RVS vote, and the deliberate misrep means more coming from an SE than if it had simply been a newbie.
Serious vote is serious. RVS over.-

"NOW HES SCUM?"
Klingon didn't say anything of the sort, and aphix's badgering implied she was making a case against Nacho during RVS.-

I don't interpret that as a misrep.
The way I saw it, Klingon rvs'd and aphix questioned him on his rvs. Klingon said that Nacho could be scum, but never said that beforehand. Aphix's comment looks legitimate because Klingon voted Nacho beforehand without calling her scum explicitly.
So I see his line of questioning as legitimate. I don't have a problem with it.-

Saying "the IC can be scum" is not grounds for suspicion, it's a fact that an IC's role does not preclude them from being scum and Klingon was just pointing that fact out. I can totally understand her doing that when being asked why she voted the IC. What I don't understand is why an IC would then twist her words when it was clear she never implied suspicionover her RVS vote.-

I just don't see how it necessarily makes aphix scum, especially since this scenario can be interpreted a number of ways.
Don't obfuscate. If you have an alternative theory, present it. I was clear in my interpretation, kindly return the favor.-

Why should a player state reason for an RVS vote? Irrational statement is irrational.

Why would you call somebody that hasn't even posted yet scum? Irrational statement is irrational.

I see your whiteknighting as illegitimate. I have a problem with it.
Please present better arguments in the future.-

I don't get why you're classifying my arguments as "white knighting" when I'm just trying to understand where this argument is coming from. It really doesn't feel all that important.
Funny, voting someone for acting scummy isn't all that important... but giving a player the third degree for casting a random vote on somebody that hasn't even posted yet (and thus having no interaction to analyze) is somehow justifiable?
Moonlogic.-

Shinobi or aphix, I want to hear from one of you an explanation on how a player can suspect someone of being scum that hasn't even posted.
I refuse to address either of you until one of you explains this sort of strategy.-

It was an RVS vote, and it was only the second vote. I don't think it's a particularly scummy move.-

" Either I mistake your shape and making quite,
33 Or else you are that shrewd and knavish sprite
34 Call'd Robin Goodfellow: are not you he
35 That frights the maidens of the villagery;
36 Skim milk, and sometimes labor in the quern
37 And bootless make the breathless huswife churn;
38 And sometime make the drink to bear no barm;
39 Mislead night-wanderers, laughing at their harm?
40 Those that Hobgoblin call you and sweet Puck,
41 You do their work, and they shall have good luck:
42 Are not you he? "
