Not in favour of the CDB case.

There's chaos, and everything acryon and Toby pointed out about him, of course.

I'm willing to write off most of Chaos' play as newbie town for the moment. Main reason is that I'm happy CDB's actions are fairly town. There's the Amy wagon he led, which ultimately collapsed but I don't think it's scummy to be wrong about a scum suspect. Changes happen over the course of the game and that's normal.

I think CKD's observation of the two NKs suspecting CDB/farside is at least a consideration, if a minor one.

NK analysis is WiFOM and generally doesn't mean anything. My theory on this, is NK analysis is like a puzzle. Except that you're not 100% sure all the pieces form together to make a pretty picture. Is it worth trying to build the puzzle, even though you're sure your efforts might be fruitless, and time wasted?
It's incomplete information, and only scum would know why they've shot XYZ. Some cases it's more obvious than others (like for the Dry-Fit kill, Beli himself said 'I think he was a PR'), but most of the time, it's just WiFOM from the scum.
I know people like to divulge in this but personally I don't think it's worthwhile.

And as for CDB himself, CDB's play comes across as very careful and calculated. I can't necessarily fault his play (having tried earlier), but at the same time it doesn't come across as town, either.

I can understand this point. Does CDB do this kind of thing as scum and/or town in his meta?

CKD, as I've said before, I think it's very good that you're looking at nightkills but I want to state again my strong belief that you have drawn the wrong conclusion. I don't think that the main thing implied by the kills is that scum are trying to silence people who suspect farside.

You are ignoring what seems to me the most important part of the nightkill analysis - that Dry-Fit flipped Jailkeeper.

I ended up busy with a few interviews and my hubby took me out yesterday as a surprise pre b-day celebration.

Off the top of my head I thought cbd lurked as scum. I have not verified the meta.

As for your comment to GC, I'll check for it shortly.

My vote on scramble is for 2 reasons, 1) no one else is voting acryon (2)deadline is coming up in a few hours and a no lynch is not helpful.

And the little wants my phone, so the check of post to GC will not happen.

You spend the entire day mulling over the clues: a pipe cleaner and a button from a uniform. You also think back to the drugged glass and the kimono wearer. What could it all mean?

You decide to go back to the luggage car. You've seen several people smoking so it seems futile to look for smoking equipment but an idea dons on you. Perhaps one of these people is a doctor who has access to drugs.

Looking through the bags, you find a vial of poison belonging to an Edward Harry Masterman, who was Colonel Armstrong's batman during the war, and later his valet, who acted as butler for the Armstrong household. But the only valet on board was Dryfit's and he seemed not to be associated with the case.

As it turned out, after more research, you discover that Dryfit's valet was in the Armstrongs' employ shortly after the war and the only reason he went to work for Dryfit is because of his love for little Daisy and to plan his revenge.

You immediately broach his chamber and have him thrown off the train into the snow to starve. Once again, you seem to have made the right decision. This case is almost wrapped up. You can almost taste the sweet taste of justice as you sip your evening tea.
