I started playing again. I'm not really sure why. I think I got over the girl I used to play with and I'm ready to join again and try raiding again as we approach the new Expansion.

I have a 90 Paladin and warrior. Always wanted a mage, but never got one over 30 so with my preorder I boosted one on a server away from the girl.

I'm not sure if this will stick, but when I go back to study next year, I might need a time sink when I'm not working 60hr weeks.

You playing on oceanic or na servers?

Oceanic, but I just moved servers as I said, so I could be convinced to move to NA if there was a guild there that I liked that was my timezone.

I like playing with you guys but timezones never work.

I don't think I'll stick with it. I did some LFRs and I forgot how much a faceroll (and visually, how much of a mess) a lot of the game is. Unless you're like...on point progression raiding, where's the challenge?

I wonder if they'll bump up the iLvl once WoD finally hits because completing the first questlines will be pretty shitty if you're in ilvl 483

I mean the Blues you get from quest from level to 90 maxed out at 430. 483 is plenty for jumping straight into WoD quests.

The people in my raid group didn't change any SoO gear from 90-100, so thinking 483 isn't a bad bet. Early quests are tuned for fresh 90s, so don't get too worried.

Mine was getting my first Gary kill on normal then I took a backseat. I don't have a guild so /shrug.

Technically, if you resub and drink at home/play WoW a few nights a week, you'll actually SAVE money in the long run!

6.0.2 hit, re-learn your class, probably. They took a lot of abilities out, changed how a bunch work, etc.

Flex is now normal. Normal is now heroic (but you can flex the same way).

Servers everywhere are murdering countless frogs on the timeless isle.

I won't be on until at least this weekend as I can't afford Warlords until then and I'm not gonna re-sub for no reason. Have they retuned Molten Core up to 90 yet?

So basically no new content at all whatsoever. And all the gear I could possibly get from drops in SoO will be useless as soon as WoD comes out. So basically there's no reason to sign back up until the 13th?

Not too much of a reason to play before WoD really. If you pre-order WoD you'll get a free 90 though.

Huh. What are the FOTM classes right now? When I left, Mage had just bee nerfed into the fucking dirt (right after Ghostcrawler left).

Honestly, that nerf (if its when I think it was) was a nerf for about 2 days until everyone figured it out. Mages were back to the top in a week.

Mages and Warriors are really dumb right now in terms of FOTM.

Frost mages are so fucking boring to play.

Hmm. If I'm recalling correctly, I've got:

Lvl 90 Mage
Lvl 86 Monk
Lvl 85 Priest
Lvl 85 Shaman

So, I'd probably rather just grind those guys up and not get a free level 90, which leaves me with:

Death Knight: Probably not worth upping to 90 over another class that doesn't get the free 50 levels.
Rogue: I played a Rogue to level 60 back in the day, and was rather lukewarm. Plus, I hate PvP, and that seems to be a rogue's bread and butter.
Paladin: Maybe. I like the versatility but melee classes in WoW have never been my thing (which is funny, since I love melee in every other MMO).
Warlock: Had one once. Couldn't figure the damn things out. Their main spec (the DoT one) seems boring as fuck.
Druid: I feel like Druid has always just been shit since I've played, and that rDPS Druid is literally worthless (the Boomkin or whatever).
Hunter: Pet class, ew. Are there any variations on Hunter that don't use a pet?
Warrior: I think Warrior is the ONE class I've never played.
