Just reflecting on it now, I am going to narrow it down to Tool/GM being TGGC's scum partner.

Gut feeling is saying Tool at the moment, but I'm interested by GM's approach to this game; she seems to be giving reads/answers just to satisfy the people asking the questions, but as I noted above she isn't actually doing anything productive in terms of pushing another wagon or anything.

It just seems strange to me.

Just to clear this up because everybody seems to be misunderstanding what I've been doing the entirety of D2 -- I see TGGC as being likely scum and have publicly said as much ever since post #1288.

I've been pushing my top suspect, VDA, because he's my top suspect. At no point was I trying to get people to townread TGGC or prevent him from getting lynched

at some point

. Rather, I was trying to get VDA lynched today instead...because he's my top suspect and has been since Shiro died.

And after hearing the arguments against leaving the TGGC lynch for tomorrow I no longer see a problem with lynching him today. I'm not going to hammer without GM catching up and VDA is still my top suspect, although especially with Luca getting back on the TGGC wagon I have a hard time believing a VDA lynch could go through.

Yeah, I acknowledged that you thought TGGC was likely scum, but given his perilous position I think your current stance on him would make sense from the perspective of you and him being a scumteam. You can see why that crosses my mind, can't you?

I was willing to consider switching to Victor, but the reason I can't is purely for the fact I am almost certain TGGC is scum, and Victor doesn't make as much sense as his partner as you or GM perhaps do.

I think the confirmation that TGGC is indeed scum is what we need to properly assess who his partner could be.

Everything in this game right now depends on TGGC's flip. In the unlikely event he is Town, that changes everything too.

Experience level, sure. Skill level is a bit different. To say "you should be better than this" is purely a BoP argument, however, and thus is fallacious.

I've never saw any townie defending so desperately and focusing on a single argument for that while completely ignoring the game and trying to OMGUS lynch the one who discovered his slip.

I can't think of an example of anyone behaving to this extreme extent, in my experience.

In fact, this makes me thinking goodmorning is less likely to be scum.
Any sane scum at this point would try to either bus his partner TGGC or to find a good looking replacement who has already some suspicion on him.

He does instead choose me as his target and that does not make sense from scum PoV.
The scum, of course, wants to get rid of me as I'm universal townread so far. But they can do it easily at night, so why bothering to do it at day.

I'm fine with hammering TGGC but if GM really is intentionally stalling then hammering is letting her succeed. Either way I feel like it's better to just force her to catch up, especially given the possibility that TGGC flips town and tomorrow is LyLo.

Before the hammer, I'd like to post some information. Give me 5-10 minutes.

Because I think I'm very likely to die at night (top townread according to the consensus), I think I have to share my "last will" before the hammer. When I'll flip town you'll have some extra information you can trust, so:

1. In the highly unlikely case TGGC will flip town, my reads are completely useless since I was so wrong about him. So I'll go straight to the most likely case.

2. If TGGC will flip scum, we'll have 5 players tomorrow, 1 of them will be scum and 4 townies. So we'll basically have 2 attempts to find the scum.
I ask you to start with tool. I'm really sure he's TGGC's partner. His entire play during D2 was full of subtle attempts of moving the spotlight from the TGGC. And when TGGC will flip scum, there is really high chance tool will be scum too.


Second suspect is more hard.

I was pretty confident that TGGC's partner is either tool or GM. But latest GM behavior does not match it. May be he is faking it for this reason. I don't know.

Another option is BBT. Why? Because defending the cop at D1 is a perfect guise for the scum. He gets towncred for that and he also appears as good player who found the cop before others did and tried to protect him (and did it well).
If he is the scum then he could just kill Shiro at night, he didn't need to lynch him at day and thus this play would be perfect for him.
And if he'll bus his partner TGGC now, he'll get very high towncred and thus can skate into the endgame and score an easy win.
So don't give him a free pass.
