I do hope that Pink wards will be effective wards against her like with Eve. Rek has far more ganking and surprisability than Eve does, but if Rek can freely move under terrain without restriction there still needs to be some way for enemies to spot her out somehow.

I'm not sure how she works when burrowed - maybe she's invisible, but the stuff they say later implies she isn't. Is she invulnerable while burrowed?

Taking from the reddit thread it looks like tunnels last 10 minutes or until an enemy destroys them; rek is visible and can be attacked while burrowed.

So ganking early to create a tunnel in lane brush and coming back at 6 could be effective.

any idea what makes the matchmaking system decide to put you in a placement match? I was playing on my alt, it was my third and final promo match into Silver II, and for some reason 7 out of 10 players were unranked. And not "almost ranked" but everyone had 4 or fewer ranked games, and some had 0.

It probably just threw you in there because there weren't enough people in placements.

Although a couple of my placements, I was the only placement with a bunch of ranked people, so I'm not really sure if that's that has weight behind it.

Well, the difference is if you're waiting 2 minutes in silver 3, you're playing at an off-hour most likely because that is practically the top of the bell curve(which is why that's the worse place to be). Master queue probably has less than a thousand people that can possibly make it into a match, maybe even less than 500.

yeah i get that. My point was more that the broadening of the MMR parameters that puts me with placement people (and good lord were some of them green) happens really quickly.

FWIW not sour grapes or anything, I won that game, though not with some puzzling behavior. Silver II's the dream.

It matches based on ELO and your ELO is about equal to what they put placement people at. It may not take widening parameters at all.

(also there are 904 people in masters atm)

edit: Of which radiant cowbells is currently ranked ~200. Remember when he was going to be in a MS league tournament? >_>.

IME silver/gold feeds diamond about as much as bronze feeds gold/silver. And I'd much rather have a fed diamond player than a fed gold/silver.

Just played a game as Mundo support. Went fully defensive tree and duepen marks/health seal/mr glyph/armor quints and just kept cleavering everyone, then just went all in every time ult was up post 6... holy shit he's good.

But damn, a Kalista with a lot of attack speed kites like a monster. If not for my ulti I can never chase her.
