Yeah it seems like priests are just vigs, they have the power to get the town but they want the ghosts. Town and Priests should work together to take down the ghosts.

If you're talking about the exorcism, you may have noticed it does no damage to innocents at all.

Seriously, I don't trust priests. They have 3 things listed on the front page: we don't have a clue what any of the do. For all we know, sacrificing townies to some dark god could make them more powerful. All I know is they don't give a rats arse about keeping me alive, so I'm staying the hell away from those I think are priests.

I'm inclined to believe that. Unless ghosts have the ability to attack, which kills priests and backfires if they target innocents (Which is likely how it would be balanced), priest roleclaims probably would be helpful.

As much as I'd like to be safe and agree with you, it dosen't look like they have any other abilities than the ones stated, and even if they don't give a rat's arse about you, it dosen't mean they want to kill you. Since us and the priests have the same win condition, I don't see why they'd want to hurt us.

YOu know though, I forgot that nopt only do they exercise but they have the sword, and other things, so I would have to agree with Shanba, one of those items might be used on an innocent to heal the priest or superpower him or something.
