I just completed my national dex!

Right in time before the ORAS release (EU).

I just need a Victini to complete my Living dex. "Just".

I have not found any shinies since BW2, which is a shame. I certainly don't want to go through the pain of the Masuda method and hatch some 1125 eggs (and counting!)
Oh well. Maybe I can turn that around in ORAS. Definitely seems like a fun game to me!

I'm really loving actually getting to see other people's secret bases, since I didn't have anyone to play with back when I played Emerald. Having built in wi-fi makes everything better!

For anyone else also into the secret base stuff, here are some useful links:

Secret Base Info and Features
Secret Base Decorations List
Secret Base Locations and Layouts

I'll also add these to the OP, I guess.

Feel free to link any other useful guides or anything you've found, and I can put those in the first post, too.

Added. I'm 4313-1538-6094.

Also I'm not sure but I don't think you automatically get the bases of someone you're friends with? I guess we'll find out.

I have one! Wanna quick-trade for completion sake? I even have it on my AS already, since I banked some 2 boxes of Awesome Shit

from my B1 onto it the other day.

You don't, pretty sure - it's only automatically gonna grab Spotpass ones. You can double-check which ones are in your game currently by looking on the AreaNav and "zooming in" and then tapping on the lit-up routes when you select "Bases". Same mechanic as checking where your Berries are only it even gives you hints as to where the bases are. Some poor schmuck at Game Freak had to go through and come up with a hint for every Secret Base location in the game... I feel for him.

EDIT: P.S. Klazam has Omega Ruby! I'll let him know this thread exists if he doesn't already.

0619 - 4654 - 9854

Need to get around to doing more secret base stuff.

In the meantime I have a crapton of breedable Pokemon (good IVs/egg moves/"Bank Balls" etc), a few shinies (trophy/competitive/semi-comp), and can farm event Beldum/do shiny value checks and whatnot (yay powersaves), if anyone needs my services/has good trades. I'll probably ask around here for living dex stuff when I get back to that.

Didn't put too much effort into mine - SRing for various good-IVd legendaries, then I'll get to doing secret base stuff.

I use metalkid's iv checker, check the stats (keep an open slot when catching to check quicker), then if necessary go to the iv checker (ie if I have 30 or 31s) and check the hidden power if I have any other leftover specifics I need.

I only have one vgc team and some battle maison pokemon, but in case I feel like using legends later I want at least decent mons. Can backup my saves for new files if I want to get perfects but those take forever
