Not what I'm saying. I'm saying that the color of the card you draw doesn't change who you are. If you're combative and aggressive, you'll probably behave that way as town or scum. Drawing a black card isn't going to suddenly make you not a jerk if you are one.

Matching personality with posting and looking for consistency is the way you get most of your scumreads TTH, I mostly play a % game based on what people are doing and the likely reasons for why they are behaving in said manner, if what they are doing most of the time benefits scum, most of the time they are also scum.

Yeah if she doesn't show up this is kinda pointless I guess. I roleblocked her in Stack The Deck out of gut since she active lurked ALL OF D1, and then she pulled off an elaborate claim scenario that made me believe she was town. She was scum.

Yes and I'm saying identifying who someone is by their posts and checking for consistency will net you a good scumread, the more you play and the more you may be try to look passive in one game and aggressive in another, for instance I have a set group of friends I play RLM with and I have to mix it up every game otherwise I would always lose as scum.

Well I do have a natural style like everyone else but since my friends know how I play I sometimes randomly change it just to keep them guessing, I do always play to my win-cons so I'm not trolling them . It is an example of why I think even in F2F just basing your reads on how consistent a player appears to be to what you think you have established as a baseline for his character is a tell that has it's problems like any other.

I can't really cite any examples when the definition of lurking and active lurking is the LACK of meaningful content produced. Lurking is not posting, active lurking is posting to avoid getting prodded or being seen as a lurker but not really contributing to the game.
